I came across this video on You Tube titled, "Israeli General's Son: Last 6 Months of Genocide are 'Beginning of the End for Israel." It is located at 'Breakthrough News' by Brian Becker. It lasts about an hour. I watched it all and took notes. If any are interested you can just google the title and the You Tube display will come up.

Both Becker and Peled are socialists and human rights activists. Peled is a Jew, the son of an Israeli general. But he has turned against Israel, in support of the Palestinians.

The title of this interview 'Beginning of the End for Israel' is what caught my interest because I have always stated that Israel will never be removed out of the land now that they are back. I say that because of God's promises in the Bible, concerning that land, are to Israel forever.

As with many 'videos' like this, the whole video is leading up to a specific point that they want to make. And that point was somewhat of a surprise to me. I am used to Palestinians talking about a two state solution, or at least willing to discuss it. But of course in reality neither Palestinians or Israel want that.

In this interview with Miko Peled, Becker brought up Schumer's remarks that Israel must overthrow the present Israeli government through new elections, as Netanyahu has lost his way. And here, Peled disagrees. He says Netanyahu hasn't lost his way. He is doing what he always intended to do. Peled disagrees with what he is doing but says he hasn't lost his way.

Peled says that Israel is perpetrating genocide in it's war with Palestinians. But, he believes Israel has been doing that long before the Oct. 7th slaughter. But this present war with the Palestinians, Peled says, has made Israel the pariah in world opinion and that this will be the downfall of Israel.

With world opinion against Israel, Peled is putting forth his 'solution' for peace. And it is not a two state solution. It is a one state solution, that state being a democratic Palestine with rights for all. And, this means there must be a total 'dismantling' of the state of Israel, which is that 'specific point' the whole interview was leading up to.

In other words, a complete removal of what was done in May of 1948, and a Democratic Palestine set up that would protect the rights of both Jews and Palestinians.

This view has interest to me when viewed through the Bible. Not that this view is right, but in trying to see how this view would fit in Bible prophecy if pursued and perhaps accomplished.

This is just a gist of the interview with the specific point given. Much more was discussed.

How does Peled's solution for peace, a one Palestinian state solution, stack up against the Bible? Well, first of all, it's amazing that the greatest enemy of the Jews are the Jews themselves. Their unbelief. For Peled certainly isn't taking into account the Jews own Bible. He clearly has to reject it.

And this is really the crux of the whole matter. The Jews don't believe their own Bible. They reject Jesus Christ because they reject Moses. (John 5:46-47)

But still, just looking at this on secular terms, how could a Jew, a son of an Israeli general, turn his back on his own people and support the Palestinians? Well, every people have their 'Judas'.

But, back to Peled's peace solution. Peled says that the establishment of a one Palestinian state is the answer. Which means the state of Israel would have to be dismantled. It's hard for me to imagine Israel agreeing to that. But then it's hard for me to imagine Israel dwelling in safety when Russia and her allies decide to attack her in the latter days. (Ezekiel 38:8) And without need of weapons or walls to protect them. (Ezekiel 38:11) But she is.

So, some sort of 'peace treaty' had to take place whereby Israel was disarmed. Which encourages the enemies to attack. Could it be that this 'peace solution', as Peled calls it, takes place? That the Palestinians are in charge of Palestine, not Israel? And Jews are just given protection and rights under the Democratic Palestinian government?

And, if Israel ceased to be a nation as set out in May 1948, what would that mean? Well, first of all, Israel was never meant to be a nation like other nations. Which is what she is today. She is a nation of the world. But Israel was always intended to be a 'theocracy'. God ruling in Israel, in that land, and dictating what she does. That is not the case today. And that worldly form of government would eventually be dismantled.

Interesting to me also that God calls Israel in (Ezekiel 38:14), "my people of Israel". That doesn't have to mean a nation with a government recognized by the world. It simply means His people who are of Israel. And He knows who they are.

To continue to what was said in the last post, if Peled's peace solution came about with Israel being dismantled as a nation, and a Democratic Palestinian nation set up which gave rights to both Jews and Palestinians, that would not affect God's promises to the Jews given in the Bible.

Why? Because the Jews would still be in the land. And, they would still be 'Israel'. Just like when Israel was in Egypt God told Moses, "And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD, Israel is my son, even my firstborn." (Ex. 4:22) God knew the Jews in Egypt as 'Israel'. It didn't matter that they were not yet a political theocracy with God's laws over them. That would occur later at the giving of the Law after God delivered them out of Egypt.

I have no doubt that the establishment of Israel in May of 1948 was from God. But it was done through his providential hand, as opposed to His direct involvement as with the exodus from Egypt. It provided the Jews a way to return back to their land, which would be a necessary factor in the fulfillment of Biblical prophecies. But, this return was a return in 'unbelief'. Israel was still in unbelief. This return did not establish Israel as the political body that God has planned for her. Israel still, as a people, reject Jesus Christ their Messiah.

There are some interesting verses in (Isaiah) that I believe add to this.

(Is. 11:11) "And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people...."

(Is. 11:16) "And there shall be an highway for the remnant of his people...like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt."

(Is. 11) is about the setting up of the Millennial Kingdom by Jesus Christ, the Branch, at His Second Coming. Thus, 'in that day' in verse (11) speaks to the Second Coming. Note that this is called 'the second time' God is gathering the remnant of his people. Which begs the question, when was the first time? I believe (Is. 11:16) answers that. "like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt".

In other words, May of 1948 was not the fulfillment of God gathering his people Israel and setting her up as a nation. It was only an ingredient necessary to fulfill the prophecies of Israel being set up as the Theocracy God has planned for her. It only brought the Jews back to the land. The second gathering is yet future.

So, if the world were to adopt Peled's 'peace solution, it would not change anything concerning what God is doing and is going to do with Israel. Just because a Palestinian democratic government was set up and Israel dismantled, only means that the worldly government of Israel was dismantled. It doesn't cause Israel to cease to exist. Just like Israel was Israel in Egypt without a government.

Peled's peace solution would never remove the hatred that the Arabs have for the Jews and vice versa. It would only disarm Israel and make her vulnerable to her enemies. Interestingly enough, the anti-christ shall by 'peace' destroy many. (Dan. 8:25) Without doubt there are difficult days ahead for Israel.
