Mostly things that aren't welcome. Rabbits and squirrels. Birds in the trees are welcome. Occasionally we see next door's dog straying across the boundary. We don't care for dogs but next door's dog is one that we like, so we're not bothered if she strays over the boundary line every once in a while - we don't have fences and the dog doesn't know what a boundary marker is let alone where it is.
