Among the LCMS here, who believes that the stories, and the details of the stories in the OT, are literally true? Like Methuselah living to almost 1000 or Enoch (or was it Elijah?) flying into heaven in a chariot etc?
if you do believe it what evidence do you have for their truth?
Besides Jesus believing It, why do you?

I believe the Old Testament happenings because of the word "testament". A testament is a statement of belief and both Old and New Testaments are not only inspired but God-breathed.
