At what distance would you consider driving to be more practical than walking?

So many variables it's impossible to answer.

If it's stupidly hot or cold I'll drive much shorter distances. A lot also depends on whether I'm carrying anything, what walking conditions are like, whether I have time constraints and the like.

I walk/run/hike a lot for pleasure and exercise but really have little interest in going shopping on foot and then having to carry frozen stuff home in the summer heat.

If I'm going out somewhere I also need to consider what conditions might be like when I come home. If the weather is changeable I don't really want to walk any great distance if I have to carry an umbrella, jacket, light etc because it might be wet, dark and/or cold when it's time to go home.
