Are there bears in your area?

I read that there was a bear sighting about a 15 minute drive from my house. Do you have bears where you live? It's rare in my area, but they do come down from the mountains this time of year looking for mates.

I've heard several times where a bear has been spotted in a nearby town though I have not seen it myself

There are bears in the mountains where I hike. I haven't seen one in years but friends with trail cams periodically report sightings of them. Sometimes I see bear scat on the trails.
