Aw, I'm kind of sad that no one replied.

Anyway, my previous church as well as my current one have Wednesday evening Advent services. There is an Advent wreath with candles at the front of the church near the baptismal font and seeing them lit each Sunday for me was in a way suspenseful as we wait for the birth of the Christ child.

Advent hymns are absolutely wonderful but then again I love most of the hymns in my church hymnal.

Much the same at the Methodist church and I love the Christmas Eve service
