My pastor started a new series today called "seasons" where he quoted a passage that I will add in this post. He was talking about everyone is a season, whether it is a tiime of sickness, productivity, rest, trial, growth or whatever.
Proverbs 3:1-8 'There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven- A time to give birth, and a time to die. A time to plant and a time to uproot what is planted. A time to kill, and a time to heal; A time to tear down, and a time to build up. A time to weep, and time to laugh; A time to mourn, and a time to dance. A time to throw stones, and a time to gether stones. A time to embrace, and time to shun embracing. A time to search, and time to give up as lost; A time to keep, and time to throw away. A time to tear apart, and a time to sew together; A time to be silent, and time to speak. A Time to love, and time to hate. A time for war and a time for peace."
My pastor also mentioned that for every season there is a reason for it. Which you may only see after the season has passed. Which I can tell you is the truth because the hardest seasons in my life have also been the most fruitful, but I didn't see it until afterward.
What type of season are you going through? What do you think the reason for it is?
