My pastor started a new series today called "seasons" where he quoted a passage that I will add in this post. He was talking about everyone is a season, whether it is a tiime of sickness, productivity, rest, trial, growth or whatever.

Proverbs 3:1-8 'There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven- A time to give birth, and a time to die. A time to plant and a time to uproot what is planted. A time to kill, and a time to heal; A time to tear down, and a time to build up. A time to weep, and time to laugh; A time to mourn, and a time to dance. A time to throw stones, and a time to gether stones. A time to embrace, and time to shun embracing. A time to search, and time to give up as lost; A time to keep, and time to throw away. A time to tear apart, and a time to sew together; A time to be silent, and time to speak. A Time to love, and time to hate. A time for war and a time for peace."

My pastor also mentioned that for every season there is a reason for it. Which you may only see after the season has passed. Which I can tell you is the truth because the hardest seasons in my life have also been the most fruitful, but I didn't see it until afterward.

What type of season are you going through? What do you think the reason for it is?

I've been going through a very difficult season and it continues. It might not be for my benefit but to bring someone else to faith. Sometimes we don't know why we suffer.

I'm actually going through a period where I am fairly productive right now with my work. I have been given more and more responsibility over the last few years. Doors are opening for service for me helping with the pastoral care area of the church I attend also. I am suffering some pain issues and sleep problems as well.
