Students were asked about their concerns for voting priorities.

One stupid said, "My home state of Oklahoma just recently completely banned abortion which sucks for a lot of people," he said. "A lot of people are going to die because of it."

Too bad that student doesn't even begin to realize how many babies die because of abortion. (n)

Check this out.

Did Kentucky ban abortion? Here’s what to know about the state’s restrictive new law. One thing the article says, it requires fetal remains to be cremated or buried by a licensed funeral establishment, which could add hundreds of dollars to the cost." I hope this gets people to think that the baby is not just a blob of tissue to toss in the garbage but a real human being worthy of a proper burial. That is a first step to hopefully get some to realize the horror of what is happening.

That whole article read like they'd asked fifth graders. I do understand the gyst of the young man's statement, though, but that's all I'll say on it

I'd love to see that man's data ;) I think people are being fed "disinformation" concerning some "facts" they are being told by others to push an agenda.

Yes, all those students sounded extremely immature in their thinking, but then again, that's the mindset of many college students who don't have bills to pay or any true burdens.

It's hardly surprising in so many ways. In a world that regards regular sex with just about anything possessing a pulse as normal it's hard to see unwanted pregnancies as anything other than an inconvenience to be dealt with so you can get back to the fun. It's probably safe to say the vast majority of abortions are sought by people who freely consented to the sex that produced the pregnancy they wish to terminate.

Where pregnancy results from rape it's easy to see the matter gets thornier with more compelling arguments in favor of allowing the mother to terminate the pregnancy. Where it results from consensual sex it seems much easier to shift the focus of sex education from endless variations of doing whatever you want with whoever you want, to at least some sense of responsibility for the consequences.

In modern day parlance it's probably considered hugely sexist to say this but the simple biological reality is that women are the ones who end up carrying the consequences when an unwanted pregnancy occurs. Biologically speaking the man can walk away and potentially not even know he will have a biological child. On that basis alone it makes sense to encourage women to be more selective. Desperately inconvenient to the modern-day woke agenda but biology doesn't really care what we think.
