The current view of the way the universe works in the tiny dimensions of quantum mechanics is shown in the picture below. There are three groups of things with six members in each group thus 6 & 6 & 6

So perhaps the mark of creation is a finger print of fundamental particles.

six quarks

six leptons

six bosons (so far only five have been detected by instruments but the sixth (the graviton) is postulated to exist).

one could call the collection a bestiary of particles. And for the prophecy minded maybe beast[iary] and finger print [mark] have something to do with the end of creation as we know it.

I've heard the collection of particles in the Standard Model referred to as the particle "zoo," so bestiary would fit equally well. :D

I tend to go with the "Heat death of the universe" as the most likely end for the universe based on current evidence, with the rate of the expansion of the universe increasing.

I've found the written words of many people to have enriched the world I live in, from literature to science, fact and fiction, lighthearted to profound. To me, it is no wonder whatsoever why some are driven to create in this way. :)

7 is found many times in the bible and I have always associated it with completion or perfection

In number theory, a perfect number is a positive integer that is equal to the sum of its proper positive divisors, that is, the sum of its positive divisors excluding the number itself (also known as its aliquot sum). Equivalently, a perfect number is a number that is half the sum of all of its positive divisors (including itself) i.e. $\sigma_1(n)=2n$.

This definition is ancient, appearing as early as Euclid's Elements (VII.22) where it is called τέλειος ἀριθμός (perfect, ideal, or complete number).

Using this definition, we find that 6 is the smallest perfect number since its proper divisors are 1, 2 and 3, and $6=1+2+3$.
