Is there a place that lists who started threads? Seems to me I recall such but can't find it now.

There is a list of the top thread starters in the Activity Leaderboards. It doesn't state the number of threads but does that point system that we don't really use (points):

I can use the Search function to find out the threads a user has created...

I go to the Advanced Search at the top right of the screen...
Then I check Posts
Then in the User Name I type in a name of a user...such as Josiah
Then click Search Now

It will bring up the threads you have started.
