Are you American? I don't know why I was under the impression that you mentioned something about being Canadian.

I watched the entire debate last night...learned nothing new. The moderator did a better job than Chris Wallace did but she still wouldn't ask Biden questions that needed to be posed to him and kept interfering with Trump wanting to ask about Hunter.

There were two times that Biden would insert a phrase that didn't flow with what he was talking about and I'd be like, "What??" He obviously rehearsed things ahead of time and to me it sounded like it was saying a phrase from some other topic and then caught himself and went back to the real topic.

I ended up watching it though I voted already. I thought Trump did a much better job of controlling himself this time and made some good points

Yes, I think the concensus is that Trump did better, but that it's unlikely to change anyone's mind.

I wonder whether debates are a good idea. I found the single-candidate town halls more useful, because it let us see what the candidate wants to do. Debates lead to attacking each other. That's amusing but not informative. Putting Trump's town hall on top of Biden's, though, makes them a lot less useful. That should never have happened.

I wonder if debates are likely to change the minds of very many people anyway. It might make for a good show but I have to wonder how many people decide who to vote for based on performance at a debate.

To me these "debates" didn't even feel like a true debate. Did anyone else get that feeling?

Biden says "we choose feelings over facts"
while Trump uses facts.. so yeah this is far from the usual debates we would expect, plus a lack of audience presence, Biden panders only to his supporters and dodges questions whereas Trump is trying to inform Biden supporters of facts surrounding his career and cold shoulder attitude and lack of interest towards the things he now "intends" on correcting.
