1 Corinthians 6:2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

6:3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

1 Corinthians is written to the church of God (1 Corinthians 1:2). The church of God was comprised of saints that believed the gospel of the kingdom as preached by the Lord Jesus and the twelve apostles, and the body of Christ that believed the gospel of grace preached by Paul. This is evidenced by the fact that Paul persecuted the church of God which at that time consisted solely of kingdom saints who believed only in the name of Christ (John 20:31) and the gospel of the kingdom (1 Corinthians 15:9).

The saints that shall judge the world are the kingdom saints who will reign with Christ in the earthly kingdom (Revelation 20:6).

Daniel 7:22 Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.

The saints are promised possession of the Davidic earthly kingdom in which they will judge.

Luke 22:29 And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;

22:30 That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

The twelve apostles were told that in the earthly kingdom they would judge.

Revelation 2:26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:

The believing remnant of Israel that endured to the end of the tribulation and remained faithful would have power to judge the nations.

Ephesians 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

2 Timothy 4:18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

The body of Christ that has believed the gospel of grace has position in the heavenly kingdom and will judge angels.

The body of Christ is in heavenly places but nothing comes to mind that details our function.

Oh Glory! One of my favorite subjects. :)

The saints who "overcome" will judge and rule over both men and angels. The nations of the earth, and all "the works of God's hands" are the inheritance of the Elect of God: that remnant from among the mass of "believers" who truly remain "faithful" and "endure til the end" and "walk worthy" of their calling.

Paul is not writing to the average church-goer here, but to the disciples of our Lord who have actually "denied themselves, picked up their cross daily and follow Jesus", who "presented their bodies a living sacrifice" and "overcome the enemy by the Blood of the Lamb, the Word of their testimony and loving not their lives unto death."

I've spent many an hour teaching on this subject. A Bible Study I did at our church dug deep into the Truth of God's plan for Creation, and the inheritance of Christ (Head and Body).

If we feel that God has called us to be among the few who will "judge men and angels" and minister Life to Creation, let us not set that calling aside, but strive diligently in our walk that we may "lay hold of what Christ Jesus has laid hold of us for" and "attain" to that "high calling of God in Christ Jesus."

Amen. And that "remnant" includes any in the churches today who have truly been 'grafted in" to the "Israel of God."

As the elders declared of Christ in Revelation, "You were slain, and purchased for God with Your blood men from every tribe and tongue and people and nation. 10 “You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God; and they will reign upon the earth.” (Rev 5:9-10)

We see from Rev 5:9 that it is not only from the physical nation of Israel that this remnant comes, but from every tribe, people and nation.
There is only One Remnant, One Church, One Elect of God, One Body of Christ, that includes both Jew & Gentile.
The promise of the inheritance of the earth and all creation is to this One Body who will be united with Christ, His "co-heirs."

These are those who will "judge" the rest of mankind and angels in that Day, for they have already been judged and found worthy in this life.

The churches in this dispensation have not been grafted in...the Gentiles grafted into the good olive tree were grafted into the remnant of Israel and believed the gospel of the kingdom which is not our gospel of grace.

Revelation 5:9-10 speaks of Israel who are purchased from every tribe and nation and will reign with Christ. Only Israel was told they would be a holy nation and priests (Exodus 19:5-6).

Note in Exodus 19:5 only Israel was given the covenant.

There is only ONE Gospel

The churches in this dispensation have not been grafted in...the Gentiles grafted into the good olive tree were grafted into the remnant of Israel and believed the gospel of the kingdom which is not our gospel of grace.

Revelation 5:9-10 speaks of Israel who are purchased from every tribe and nation and will reign with Christ. Only Israel was told they would be a holy nation and priests (Exodus 19:5-6).

Note in Exodus 19:5 only Israel was given the covenant.

You realize there is only one Gospel, right? And only one New Covenant, which is made only with Israel, not us Gentiles?
There is not a separate Gospel for the Gentile and one for the Jew.

As the Apostle Paul said, "I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is God’s power for salvation to everyone who believes, first to the Jew, and also to the Greek." (Rom 1:16)

The false teaching of a 'disposition of grace' period of time, where Gentiles only have to "believe" but not obey, has done great damage and led many astray.

Do we know also that there is no covenant with the Gentile? The New Covenant, which Jesus came to begin to fulfill, is given only with the "house of Israel and the house of Judah." (Jer 31:31-34, Heb 8:7-13)

If we are NOT "grafted in among them" (Israel), then we have no place in Christ.
Any teaching of a different Gospel for the Gentile & Jew is contrary to Scripture.

Again, Paul is very clear on this -

"For if the firstfruit is holy, the lump is also holy; and if the root is holy, so are the branches. 17 And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree, 18 do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you.

19 You will say then, “Branches were broken off that I might be grafted in.” 20 Well said. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear. 21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either. 22 Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off. 23 And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. 24 For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, who are natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?

25 For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. 26 And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written:

“The Deliverer will come out of Zion,
And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob;
27 For this is My covenant with them,
When I take away their sins.”

- Rom 11:16-27

Scripture says otherwise in Romans 3:22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
