What is the meaning of the use of vestments in your church?

What colors does your church use for Liturgical colors such as for vestments?

I have been to Baptist Churches that refer to the Evangelists as Saint Mark or John, but then they refer to Moses as just Moses. So wanted to ask about it how the Evangelicals view it. :)

Pretty historical and simple title, but I love referencing her as the Theotokos.

Does your church use prostrations in worship at all? Orthodoxy does during Lent, and other various days of the Church year.

Whether it be at your church or in your own home.

I'm talking about the church services to where it looks more like a rock concert rather than a worship service.

This has been primarily said towards the EO Church, but also with others who have vestments. An argument I've heard is that vestments aren't necessary, though they carry symbolism and they were in the Bible.

I'm pretty sure most know what Orthodox Priests wear when conducting the service. :D
