    I know some Lutherans who wear a crucifix. I don't have any of them and have a little cross that I sometimes wear. Ever since I had surgery on my neck 4 years ago, I don't feel comfortable wearing necklaces anymore.

    Just because God said he didn't desire sacrifice doesn't mean that He didn't command sacrifices to happen. You're misinterpreting the verse. Soon you'll be saying that Jesus' wasn't sacrificed on the cross?
