How Faith Blesses Our Lives on Earth

Faith gives me strength each day and brightens my outlook. It keeps things in perspective and helps to guide me from the words and actions I would take of myself. It helps me to focus on what is good and right when seeing all around, and inside, what is wrong. It gives hope and solace and life...

It is the manner in which rule is carried out. One cannot rule equitably without perceiving self as nought or at very least, equal to the least of us.

No the word equality is not in the verses you provided, but if you will go back and read them again you should be able to see that the focus is equality regardless.

We aren't to do for reward. The verses you quoted do mention differences but much more so mentions equity and necessity of each which make up the whole together.

I'm not basing my words on societal norms. I in no way said people are treated or even looked at as equals. But that they should be. We are told to love our enemy. Loving one as yourself doesn't make them your equal in that respect?

I've specified the definition I meant. Do you agree?

A foot isn't a hand but the body isn't complete without either. noun 1. a person or thing considered to be the same as another in status or quality. "we all treat each other as equals" synonyms:equivalent,*peer,*fellow,*coequal,*like; counterpart,*match,*parallel "they did not treat him...

Yeah, I figured it was something along those lines. Bible offline works well enough for me. I don't know if it is only a phone app though.

Jews or Greeks, slaves or free--and we were all made to drink of one Spirit If the foot were to say, 'Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body', that would not make it any less a part of the body. 16 And if the ear were to say, 'Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body'...

For whatever reason, the verses you posted seem to have some typos. Just letting you know.

My emphasis was on the humility and lowly estate of Jesus though He is the Way.

So a perfect body is a lame body due to the inadequacy of a limb? Gifts may vary in breadth and faith may vary in extent, but each limb or branch is to support the other. The body is whole and one, and of Christ so it cannot be insufficient in any part.

(Perhaps this singular verse will bring to light the point I was trying to make about equality.) Matthew 11: 29. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. (peace)

2 Timothy 3: 14. But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15. And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16...

A teacher is not a superior. All are equal The elder is to serve the youth and guide them to the truth. It was never my intent to say that there are no teachers, but if actual teachers then they would consider themselves as servants and not lords. Morecoffee put it well I think; he said...

I've read it repeatedly; your contention does not agree with scripture to me. Perhaps you could provide some references and we can discuss them.
