We are given Bible Scripture evidence revealing that Lord Jesus Christ is GOD The Son, and not just 'a God'. Jesus Christ is part of The GODHEAD of The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. That is three Persons in The Godhead manifest as One. Thing is, the flesh cannot understand this, even though it is well written of in God's Word. Those who reject Jesus of Nazareth as God will not quote the following Bible Scripture evidence to you. They bypass it in favor of their fleshy doctrines on the matter (which I will reveal why they do that later here in this post).

1.
Matt 1:21-23
21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call His name JESUS: for He shall save His people from their sins.
22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
23 "Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call His name
Emmanuel", which being interpreted is, God with us.
KJV

Isa 7:14
14 Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
KJV

That above Matthew 1:23 Scripture is one of the greatest evidences that Jesus of Nazareth is part of The GODHEAD. Jesus is that child of the Isaiah 7:14 prophecy, which His Name "Immanuel" means "God with us," meaning God come in the flesh as Jesus Christ.

The following Scripture from the Hebrew Masoretic text also verifies Christ's place in the 3 Person GODHEAD...

Isa 9:6-7
6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor,
The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end,
upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
KJV

The Hebrew text of the Old Testament there in Isaiah 9:6 refers to Lord Jesus Christ as "The mighty God, The everlasting Father." But there is debate among the Jews that the Greek Septuagint Bible used in the 1st century A.D. does not have those Titles for the "child" (Jesus) in Isaiah 9:6. The Greek Septuagint Bible was translated from Hebrew texts by the Christian school at Alexandria, Egypt, a school that was known for not accepting Jesus of Nazareth as God. They were also known to have doctored their Greek translation from the Hebrew. So just because their claim is the Greek Septuagint translation is older than the Masoretic Hebrew text which later Bible translations were derived from, that is still not enough valid proof of its accuracy. (See the video Bridge To Babylon on YouTube.)

Simply because that Matthew 1:23 verse reveals that Title from Isaiah 7 for Lord Jesus means "God with us," shows those against that have left the actual Bible Scripture evidence, and have yet to be able to prove that Matthew 1:21-23 Scripture as fake, which also means that Matthew 1:23 revelation proves the existence of Jesus' Titles of "The mighty God, The everlasting Father' in Isaiah 9:6 also.

2.
John 14:6-9
6 Jesus saith unto him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.
7 If ye had known Me, ye should have known My Father also: and from henceforth ye know Him, and have seen Him."
8 Philip saith unto Him, "Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us."
9
Jesus saith unto him, "Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known Me, Philip? he that hath seen Me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, 'Shew us the Father?' "
KJV

That above is Lord Jesus Christ declaring Himself as co-equal with GOD The Father.

3.
Heb 1:1-8
1 God, Who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us
by His Son, Whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by Whom also He made the worlds;
3 Who being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

Make no mistake, those above phrases in red are declaring the GODHEAD of The Father AND... His Son Jesus Christ. What flesh human man do you know that is appointed "heir of all things", and "by Whom also He made the world" in the beginning? Who else but GOD can be His "express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power"?

4 Being made so much better than the angels, as He hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

The scoffers that reject Jesus of Nazareth as "Emmanuel", "God with us" try... to use the above verse to claim Jesus was just a flesh born man like anyone else, and not God having come in the flesh.

Lord Jesus has been with The Father forever, which is why Jesus used The Father's expression of being The Alpha and Omega (first and the last) from Old Testament Scripture for Himself (See Rev.1). The above idea, "Being made so much better than the angels..." is about Lord Jesus' flesh birth, not His Eternal existence with The Father in The Godhead. Lord Jesus existed without... a flesh body prior to His being born in the flesh like us. Apostle John in John 4:24 said that God is a Spirit, and that also is what Jesus was before He came in the flesh as Jesus of Nazareth. Thus Jesus was NOT created or made, not His Everlasting Spirit. But His flesh body was created or made, when He was born of a virgin as written.

(Also, Lord Jesus' Spirit never... stopped existing, ever, not even after He was born in the flesh, and that's the main point. GOD actually walked this earth in the flesh as Jesus Christ. Those who reject that is what God's Word is pointing to about this matter, show they do not understand how God created us in the flesh, because Hebrews 4:12 reveals we are made up of 3 parts - a flesh body, and a soul, and a spirit. Ecclesiastes 12:5-7 and Matthew 10:28 , and 2 Corinthians 5, reveal that when our flesh body dies, our spirit body with soul is then manifest in the heavenly, going back to God. In John 3 Lord Jesus even revealed the two different dimensions of this earthly vs. the heavenly when He said "That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit." Those who try to claim our spirit and soul are part of fleshy material matter show they do not understand the difference between those two different dimensions. God's Word is what teaches these two different dimensions and the two different types of bodies; it is not just my speculation or opinion.)

So there again, are those who want to treat that verse like Jesus's Soul was created like us, which is evidence of one using their carnal fleshy mind to interpret that verse, or should we understand that verse in its proper comparison with Jesus' flesh body with His being God ("Emmanuel") having been born in the flesh, through a virgin, as written?

5 For unto which of the angels said He at any time, "Thou art My Son, this day have I begotten Thee?" And again, "I will be to Him a Father, and He shall be to Me a Son?"
6 And again, when He bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, He saith, "And let all the angels of God worship Him."
7 And of the angels He saith, "Who maketh His angels spirits, and His ministers a flame of fire."

The Father never said that about the angels that He created. He only spoke that of Jesus of Nazareth about His Godship having been born in the flesh as "Emmanuel", "God with us." (Matt.1:23) That is what His Title of The Only Begotten Son of God is about, the fact that God came in the flesh as Jesus of Nazareth, The Christ. No angel ever did that.

8 But unto the Son He saith, "Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of Thy kingdom."
KJV

God The Father said that about Jesus of Nazareth. The Father Himself called Christ as "God". Where was that written? Here...

Psalms 45:6
6 Thy throne,
O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre.
KJV

4.
Matt 16:13-17
13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, "Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?"
14 And they said, "Some say that Thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets."

What Christ's disciples answered that some thought Jesus was John the Baptist, or Elias (Elijah) the prophet, or Jeremiah, or one of the other prophets, reveals some of the Jews had succumbed to the pagan ideology of reincarnation. That should reveal to the serious Bible student and student of history of how the Jews fell into corruptions during their captivity to Babylon, with doctrines from the world's religions having crept in among them. It would produce their Babylonian Talmud sage writings which contain some very suspect traditions of men that are not written in God's Word.

15 He saith unto them, "But whom say ye that I am?"

16 And Simon Peter answered and said,
"Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God."
17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, "Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but My Father Which is in heaven."
KJV

Peter speaks up, and declares Jesus of Nazareth as THE CHRIST, the Son of the living GOD.

What's so special about that "the Christ" phrase?

That term "Christ" in the Greek means 'the Anointed'. It is from Hebrew mashiyach for "Messiah" (OT:4899). It is a Name associated with the "child" that The Father said would be born of a virgin per Isaiah 7:14 and Isaiah 9. It occurs in the Daniel 9:25 and 26 verses about Lord Jesus of Nazareth. It is a name associated with a Divine Office in The Godhead. Even the name Jesus is actually from Greek Iesous for Hebrew Yehowshu'a which means 'Yehovah is Salvation." When you say The Name Jesus Christ, you are actually automatically including... The Father Yehovah as the Divine Source of His Only Begotten Son.

Note especially, that Lord Jesus told Peter that Peter's flesh didn't reveal this to him, but The Father in Heaven revealed it to Peter, meaning to Peter's spirit. This is a matter that flesh and blood cannot reveal to those who are weak in the Faith. It is a matter of The Spirit, and must be understood by The Spirit. Because God's Word contains all these Scripture evidences pointing to Jesus of Nazareth as GOD having come in the flesh, even though our fleshy carnal mind may have a difficult time grasping it, we are still required to believe what God's Word as written says about it. And there's simply too many Bible Witnesses to show Jesus as one Person in the 3 Person GODHEAD, that those against it just cannot disprove all these Bible Witnesses.

Here's another Bible Witness that Jesus of Nazareth is God having come in the flesh as THE CHRIST...

5.
1 John 4:3
3 And every spirit that confesseth not
that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
KJV

What's so important about Jesus of Nazareth having been born in the flesh like us? That's what the unbelievers think about Jesus, nothing special about Him, that He was just a human born flesh man like the rest of us, and not God. They base their fleshy reasoning on the fact that Jesus was born in the flesh, and no God can be of the flesh.

But that Title of THE CHRIST is part of Lord Jesus' name, now that's different, because THE CHRIST is pointing to His HEAVENLY Divine Office in The GODHEAD.

Thus Apostle John is actually saying that those who do not confess that Jesus of Nazareth is GOD THE CHRIST, actually GOD come in the flesh, are not of God. And that means of course, those unbelievers must... rely on their fleshy carnal reasoning, and will not understand how The Godhead is made up of 3 Persons, yet all 3 are as ONE. Only by God's Spirit revealing it to our spirit is able to give understanding how Jesus is Immanuel 'God with us' having come in the flesh.

SUMMARY:
This problem of carnal thinking about Jesus of Nazareth as GOD The Son, and Immanuel God with us, was the main problem the unbelieving Jews had about Lord Jesus Christ. Likewise, even some Jewish converts to Jesus also have that same problem they inherited from their unbelieving Jewish brethren. Most likely their spirit will not grasp it until they see our Lord Jesus Christ returning to earth in the clouds, as written.

Isa 7:14

That above Matthew 1:23 Scripture is one of the greatest evidences that Jesus of Nazareth is part of The GODHEAD. Jesus is that child of the Isaiah 7:14 prophecy, which His Name "Immanuel" means "God with us," meaning God come in the flesh as Jesus Christ.
Yes, Emanuel means God with us, meaning GOD come in the flesh as JESUS Christ, the first born of GOD, yes, first born, and also the
Holy Spirit.
As JESUS said->John 15:26->26
But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of Truth, which proceedeth from the Father, -> He shall testify of me: -> 1 John 5:7->7 For there are three that testifies in heaven:->(heaven? Ephesians 1:3-10, and so on)-> the Father->GOD the Father,-> the Word,->the Word made flesh-JESUS, -> and the Holy Spirit ->(who is not a ghost, but a person) ;->: and these THREE are One.

Isaiah 7:14-16 -> ... Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
15 Butter and honey shall he eat,
that he may know to REFUSE the vil, and CHOOSE the good. ->(NOTE: JESUS is GOD, and He never needed to REFUSE evil and CHOOSE good, so the person / the child of Isaiah 7:14 IS NOT JESUS, AS YOU SAID). 16 For before the child shall know to REFUSE the evil, and CHOOSE the good, the land that thou abhorrest shall be forsaken of both her kings. -> The birth of Emannuel, who is the Comfort, the Paraclete, prophesied by Isaiah, it was determined by GOD to be in the END times, time of Apocalypse : -> Revelation 12:1-2 and 5:-> 1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven(heaven? Ephesians 1:3-10, and so on); a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: 2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron->(REVELATION 2:26-27): and her child was caught up unto GOD->(AFTER HE KNEW TO FREFUSE EVIL AND CHOOSE GOOD-> LUKE 15:27 and 32), and to His throne. =->(GOD'S THRONE:? Psalms 97, take a look).

KJV

The Hebrew text of the Old Testament there in Isaiah 9:6 refers to Lord Jesus Christ as "The mighty God, The everlasting Father."

Yes, Isaiah 9:6 is about the Lord JESUS, the first born of GOD: -> "6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.". But Isaiah 7:14 is not JESUS, as is proved above by the Word of GOD. You should know that JESUS never needed to know to REFUSE EVIL and to CHOOSE GOOD, -> JESUS Himself left crystal clear who really needed to KNOW refuse evil and choose good: -> LUKE 15:27 and 32, take a look.

You did alright until you got to the following idea...

Lord Jesus Christ IS... the Isaiah 7:14 "child" that would be born of a VIRGIN. Furthermore, the Matthew 1 Scripture also confirms that...

Isa 7:14
14 Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son,
and shall call his name Immanuel.
KJV

Matt 1:21-23
21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for He shall save His people from their sins.
22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
23 Behold,
a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
KJV

So I don't know why... in the world you would deny the above in favor of your interpretation problem with the refuse evil and choose good ideas. Those are simple expressions about Jesus at an early age as a boy, how those of Israel and in the synagogue would marvel at Jesus' wisdom even as a young boy (See Luke 2).

The child revealed in Isaiah 7:14 has nothing to do with Matthew 1:21-23, he is not the Word made flesh-JESUS.

The child of Isaiah 7:14 is the man child of Revelation 12:1-2 and 5, the Comfort, the Paraclete->John 15:26 and 16:7-15, the God of the earth working within the Churches. ->the Candlesticks, ->Revelation(Apocalypse) 1:19-20 combined with Revelation 11: 4 and 6.

Again:

Isaiah 7:14-16 -> ... Behold, a virgin shall conceive(she is not Mary-Matthew 1:21-23, she is the woman of Revelation 12:1-2&5) and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. ->(God with us - The Comfort, the Paralete sent by JESUS from the Father-> John 15:26)

15 Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to REFUSE the evil, and CHOOSE the good. ->(NOTE: JESUS is the Word made flesh, He is GOD, and He never needed to REFUSE evil and CHOOSE good, so the person / the child of Isaiah 7:14 IS NOT JESUS, AS YOU SAID).

The Word is GOD, GOD Himself, GOD the Father, Father of our Lord JESUS Christ, Self-Executing / Self-Executable, understand?

SORRY, but you are terribly... WRONG about that. The Matthew 1:21-23 Scripture confirms that Isaiah 7:14 "child" is about Jesus of Nazareth...

You have NO EXCUSE for denying the above Matthew 1 Scripture.

No, brotherr, I'm not terrible WRONG about that. Yes, the evangelist Matthew speaking of the birth of JESUS, the Word made flesh-> the Word is GOD, understand? he used the same Scripture of the birth of the child, mentioned in Isaiah 7:14, to highlight the wonderful event of JESUS's birth by the virgin Mary, but both CHILD are two distinct persons. The prophecy of JESUS's birth, the Word made flesh, is Isaiah 9:6-7(among others) through virgin Mary, but the child of Isaiah 7:14 is linked to the time of Apocalypse -> Revelation 12:1-2 and 5 combined wih Revelation 22:16-17, take a look. Paul also speak about him-1Thessalonians 4:16, takea look.
You have NO EXCUSE for denying the above Matthew 1 Scripture.
The case is not this, brother. JESUS is the Word made flesh, Isaiah 7:14 and Isaiah 9:6-7 as the Word is One , but there are three Persons that testify in heaven - 1John 5:7 combined with Ephesians 1:3-10, and so on,. Great mystery.

That statement above is TOTALLY... off the wall and is NOT written in God's Word.

The "child" of Isaiah 7:14 is... about Jesus of Nazareth, LITERALLY. The Matthew 1:20-23 Scripture CONFIRMS it.

Isa 7:14
14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold,

"Emmanuel" is a translation of Hebrew "Immanuel".

ALL... of the Bible examples of this Child is about Jesus of Nazareth as THE CHRIST, to include Isaiah 7:14, Isaiah 9:6, Matthew 1:20-23.

Revelation 12:2 and Revelation 12:4 are BOTH SYMBOLIC of Jesus as the prophesied SEED of the Woman of Genesis 3:15. But Revelation 12:5 and Revelation 12:13 are SPECIFICALLY about Jesus Christ as that "man child".

What you instead have suggested is ERROR, and suggests there are TWO Christ Childs when there is ONLY ONE written of in God's Word.

This rebellious son of GOD did not come from heaven as JESUS came-John 6:38. This rebellious son of GOD is earthly, however, he is the LEGITIMATE younger brother of JESUS, as JESUS said, understand? JESUS spoke about his rebellious younger brother, so the prophecy of the Isaiah 7:14-16 was interpreted by JESUS in Luke 15:27 and 32, take a look.

By the way, Isaiah prophesied saying that this younger son of GOD appears here on Earth as a captive->Isaiah 51:14,-> like someone who was exiled to a foreign land, he did not descend from heaven as JESUS descended. ->Isaiah 51:14:->The captive exile hasteneth that he may be loosed, and that he should not die in the pit, nor that his bread should fail. Alleluia!

JESUS said: Luke 15:26-27 and 31-32:

26 JESUS called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant.

27 And the servant said unto JESUS, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound.

31 And GOD the Father said unto JESUS, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.
32 It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy BROTHER was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.

Alleluia!
