We are given Bible Scripture evidence revealing that Lord Jesus Christ is GOD The Son, and not just 'a God'. Jesus Christ is part of The GODHEAD of The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. That is three Persons in The Godhead manifest as One. Thing is, the flesh cannot understand this, even though it is well written of in God's Word. Those who reject Jesus of Nazareth as God will not quote the following Bible Scripture evidence to you. They bypass it in favor of their fleshy doctrines on the matter (which I will reveal why they do that later here in this post).
1.
Matt 1:21-23
21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call His name JESUS: for He shall save His people from their sins.
22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
23 "Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel", which being interpreted is, God with us.
KJV
Isa 7:14
14 Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
KJV
That above Matthew 1:23 Scripture is one of the greatest evidences that Jesus of Nazareth is part of The GODHEAD. Jesus is that child of the Isaiah 7:14 prophecy, which His Name "Immanuel" means "God with us," meaning God come in the flesh as Jesus Christ.
The following Scripture from the Hebrew Masoretic text also verifies Christ's place in the 3 Person GODHEAD...
Isa 9:6-7
6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
KJV
The Hebrew text of the Old Testament there in Isaiah 9:6 refers to Lord Jesus Christ as "The mighty God, The everlasting Father." But there is debate among the Jews that the Greek Septuagint Bible used in the 1st century A.D. does not have those Titles for the "child" (Jesus) in Isaiah 9:6. The Greek Septuagint Bible was translated from Hebrew texts by the Christian school at Alexandria, Egypt, a school that was known for not accepting Jesus of Nazareth as God. They were also known to have doctored their Greek translation from the Hebrew. So just because their claim is the Greek Septuagint translation is older than the Masoretic Hebrew text which later Bible translations were derived from, that is still not enough valid proof of its accuracy. (See the video Bridge To Babylon on YouTube.)
Simply because that Matthew 1:23 verse reveals that Title from Isaiah 7 for Lord Jesus means "God with us," shows those against that have left the actual Bible Scripture evidence, and have yet to be able to prove that Matthew 1:21-23 Scripture as fake, which also means that Matthew 1:23 revelation proves the existence of Jesus' Titles of "The mighty God, The everlasting Father' in Isaiah 9:6 also.
2.
John 14:6-9
6 Jesus saith unto him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.
7 If ye had known Me, ye should have known My Father also: and from henceforth ye know Him, and have seen Him."
8 Philip saith unto Him, "Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us."
9 Jesus saith unto him, "Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known Me, Philip? he that hath seen Me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, 'Shew us the Father?' "
KJV
That above is Lord Jesus Christ declaring Himself as co-equal with GOD The Father.

Heb 1:1-8
1 God, Who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, Whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by Whom also He made the worlds;
3 Who being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
Make no mistake, those above phrases in red are declaring the GODHEAD of The Father AND... His Son Jesus Christ. What flesh human man do you know that is appointed "heir of all things", and "by Whom also He made the world" in the beginning? Who else but GOD can be His "express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power"?
4 Being made so much better than the angels, as He hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
The scoffers that reject Jesus of Nazareth as "Emmanuel", "God with us" try... to use the above verse to claim Jesus was just a flesh born man like anyone else, and not God having come in the flesh.
Lord Jesus has been with The Father forever, which is why Jesus used The Father's expression of being The Alpha and Omega (first and the last) from Old Testament Scripture for Himself (See Rev.1). The above idea, "Being made so much better than the angels..." is about Lord Jesus' flesh birth, not His Eternal existence with The Father in The Godhead. Lord Jesus existed without... a flesh body prior to His being born in the flesh like us. Apostle John in John 4:24 said that God is a Spirit, and that also is what Jesus was before He came in the flesh as Jesus of Nazareth. Thus Jesus was NOT created or made, not His Everlasting Spirit. But His flesh body was created or made, when He was born of a virgin as written.
(Also, Lord Jesus' Spirit never... stopped existing, ever, not even after He was born in the flesh, and that's the main point. GOD actually walked this earth in the flesh as Jesus Christ. Those who reject that is what God's Word is pointing to about this matter, show they do not understand how God created us in the flesh, because Hebrews 4:12 reveals we are made up of 3 parts - a flesh body, and a soul, and a spirit. Ecclesiastes 12:5-7 and Matthew 10:28 , and 2 Corinthians 5, reveal that when our flesh body dies, our spirit body with soul is then manifest in the heavenly, going back to God. In John 3 Lord Jesus even revealed the two different dimensions of this earthly vs. the heavenly when He said "That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit." Those who try to claim our spirit and soul are part of fleshy material matter show they do not understand the difference between those two different dimensions. God's Word is what teaches these two different dimensions and the two different types of bodies; it is not just my speculation or opinion.)
So there again, are those who want to treat that verse like Jesus's Soul was created like us, which is evidence of one using their carnal fleshy mind to interpret that verse, or should we understand that verse in its proper comparison with Jesus' flesh body with His being God ("Emmanuel") having been born in the flesh, through a virgin, as written?
5 For unto which of the angels said He at any time, "Thou art My Son, this day have I begotten Thee?" And again, "I will be to Him a Father, and He shall be to Me a Son?"
6 And again, when He bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, He saith, "And let all the angels of God worship Him."
7 And of the angels He saith, "Who maketh His angels spirits, and His ministers a flame of fire."
The Father never said that about the angels that He created. He only spoke that of Jesus of Nazareth about His Godship having been born in the flesh as "Emmanuel", "God with us." (Matt.1:23) That is what His Title of The Only Begotten Son of God is about, the fact that God came in the flesh as Jesus of Nazareth, The Christ. No angel ever did that.
8 But unto the Son He saith, "Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of Thy kingdom."
KJV
God The Father said that about Jesus of Nazareth. The Father Himself called Christ as "God". Where was that written? Here...
Psalms 45:6
6 Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre.
