The apostle John (also known as John the Evangelist [link removed by staff]) was one of the four gospel writers as well as an author of two other main books, including Revelation and his epistle, that became the final chapters of the New Testament. John covers several areas in his gospel that speak about the life, teachings, and truth of what Christ did to redeem his people within the events, death and resurrection that took place.

In John’s Gospel

He tells how you must be born again to inherit the kingdom that God opened up for us through his son. Whoever is born of the flesh is equal to flesh, John states in chapter 3, when Jesus replied to Nicodemus, saying, “ye cannot enter the kingdom of heaven unless he is born of water and spirit” (v. 4-5). How one can enter through the spirit is taught by examples of what Jesus did and explained in his teachings.

When Jesus healed a man born blind, he proved that he was about to give sight to others who have been blinded — those who could not see spiritually. Jesus came into the world to die for them so that they may have light. But judgment also came into being for those who could see would become blind. Jesus was able to heal the blind man because he wasn’t able to see physically, but spiritually, he believed in him as the Messiah.

It’s important to realize that those who do see spiritually and understand that he is the way, the truth and the life, will be hated for his name’s sake. But it is also important to keep his commands, as stated in John’s gospel:

“For if you love God, he will give you another helper, and that is the holy spirit which dwells with us, of whom the world does not receive, because they cannot see him until he is discovered” (14:15-17).
Already have we been made clean because of his word, so if we abide in him as one of his branches, ask whatever you need, and it will be given to you, for he is the vine who holds authority, that we may also bear fruit. However, since we have been called out of this world and are no longer of it, you will be persecuted and reviled against. As long as we continue in the spirit of truth, the helper will come for our aid. By bearing witness to his name, even in front of one another, he will protect you from the wrath of the enemy.

1-john-3-23-this-is-his-commandment-that-we-believe-beige.jpg

Before Jesus had ascended into heaven, he said to his disciples: behold, the hour is coming that you must believe and not question me, for in the world you will have tribulation, but in him you will have peace. And be sure to take heart that the father is with you because he has overcome the world for us. Many false prophets will rise up in the end times, and we are to test the spirits to see if they are from God.

In John’s Epistle

Anyone who does not confess Jesus as lord is of the Antichrist, and they will fall into destruction because they have not received the true gospel that has been given to us. They have followed after their own pleasures — involving a passion and desire for the world — because they have preferred the things that are within it: This could be drugs, sexual immorality, satanic music, or anything else that is from the occult.

These are instrumental ways that can either pull people away or deceive them from the necessary means of truly believing in God. But if we choose to trust him, we do not altogether refrain from practicing what is sinful but learn to avoid the implications and consequences of what they can do to our lives, physically and mentally, and even spiritually.

Since He overcame our deeds for us, take heed that you are under his wings through the spiritual direction that’s been given to us. If you do not love the world, you can have victory in Christ through having faith. God is pure, but we cannot manifest anything holy in our life without being made perfect through the propitiation of sins. So we are protected on the day of judgment by what he did for us because of his grace and our desire to live with him. For whoever loves God remains in the son, but those who prefer the world instead, do not hold the truth of the father in them, and therefore, they will not see life. The word of God is greater than men, and this is the testimony that John gave to us:

We who know the father will keep his commands; for those who are in him do not love sin that leads to death . . . so do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed into the renewing of your mind, having faith that leads to life in Christ our Lord.
Our faith continues through knowing him, not by carrying a heavy weight because of what we’ve done, but by what he did at Calvary. Do not be eerie on what you’ve done in the past or present time, or what you will do in the future, but look forward into his plan for your life to come. Time is running out until he is coming again, very soon!

In the Book of Revelation

John was also given a vision that speaks about the scrolls which open up into seven seals:

  • The White Horseman — Its rider comes out to conquer wearing a crown and carrying a bow
  • The Red Horseman — Its rider who removes peace from the earth, having people slayed by his sword
  • The Black Horseman — Its rider holding a pair of scales in his hand
  • The Pale Horseman — its rider’s name was death to kill one fourth of the earth with famine and pestilence
  • The Fifth Seal — the souls who are slain for becoming Christians at Armageddon
  • The Sixth Seal — representing a great earthquake that falls upon the people awaiting refuge
  • The Seventh Seal — representing the second coming
The Seven Trumpets

These events can be compared to the seven trumpets that will take place during the 7-year tribulation period. The first trumpet represents hail and fire mixed with blood falling upon the earth. A third of it will become burned to ashes, much like what took place in the book of Exodus. This trumpet causes agricultural chaos in the earth, while the second trumpet brings destruction upon the seas, turning its oceans into rivers of blood. During the third trumpet, wormwood will have fallen from the sky, causing the water to be polluted, almost undrinkable, where famine will begin to occur more rapidly.

Then there was the fourth and fifth trumpet where the sun and moon become darkened, and locusts will have been released from outer space. At the sixth trumpet, there will be four angels released from heaven who kill over a third of mankind. Final judgement will then occur at the seventh trumpet, when the second coming of Christ has been revealed, and the destruction of evil has taken place, to set up his kingdom against those who did not repent of their works (Revelation 9:20-21).

There are only two sides, either you actively choose the Lord's side or you are on the other by default so in everything you do or say always ask yourself "Is this the Lord's side?" before doing or saying it.

I'm not saying there are more sides. I'm just questioning the usage of the term that wasn't used for unbelievers in the bible, from what I recall. Is there a verse that says all unbelievers are the antichrist?

I understand your point.

As far as directly saying "unbelievers are the antichrist" I would say no.

However consider the following and the deeper meaning of what is said:

1Johnn 4:2-3 "and you can know which ones come from God. His Spirit says that Jesus Christ had a truly human body. But when someone doesn't say this about Jesus, you know that person has a spirit that doesn't come from God and is the enemy of Christ. You knew that this enemy was coming into the world and now is already here." (CEV)

2Johnn 1:7 "Many liars have gone out into the world. These deceitful liars are saying that Jesus Christ did not have a truly human body. But they are liars and the enemies of Christ."(CEV)

1John 2:22 "Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son."

Other verses as well put the unbeliever on the side of the antichrist.

Again, everything we do, every action we take, is on one side or the other, there is no middle ground, no little bit of this and a little bit of that. If you are on the side of evil just a little bit then you are on the side of evil and you cannot be both on the side of evil and the side of Christ.

As I see it.

I agree with you, @Frankj, that it is the spirit of the antichrist that denies the full humanity as well as the complete deity of Jesus. Another passage seems to say that the antichrist is going to be a person of some sort. I guess we'll have to wait until then to find out what or who the antichrist will be. However, it seems that the antichrist spirit is making a public appearance in these days a lot more with the aggressive advance of atheism, secularism, and other false ideas.

The Red Horseman — Its rider who removes peace from the earth, having people slayed by his sword
But wait, there is one important detail yet to be announced: All believers of the whole world MUST KNOW that the Rider of the red horse is already operating and ruling the most powerful nation the world at an accelerated paces in his activities, which are those described in Revelation 6:3-4, as follows:

3 And when he had opened the second seal, I heard...say, Come and see.

4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.->(a demonic MOUTH, to speak atrocities and foment them throughout the world). Be prepared or else get ready.

Revelation 6:3-4:->3 And when he had opened the second seal, I heard ...Come and see.

4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth(this is his first performance, to take peace from the earth, and it has been fulfilled LITERALLY since the beginning of his government), and that they should kill one another ->(this second performance of him must fulfill LITERALLY from now on), and there was given unto him a great sword.->(By allegory, it means was given unto him a demonic MOUTH to speak atrocities and fomenting them throughout the world).

By the way, remember, Satan tried to prevent the LITERAL fulfillment of this prophecy when he used one of his evil instruments to kill Trump. The shot was precisely aimed at Trump's head; the fatal bullet grazed his ear. If it had hit his head, he would have fallen dead right there, and then what? How would the Scriptures, i.e., Revelation, be fulfilled?

The end of the rider on the red horse will only happen after he fulfills everything that is determined for him to do, under the observation of Michael, who knows the extent to which the rider on the red horse can go, and no further than what is written.

After the red horse finishes his task, Michael will still continue fighting against the riders on the black and pale horses, and both will come soon afterwards.

Be prepared or else get ready

Brother, your thinking is from a human perspective, not from GOD's perspective, human thoughts is a stumblingblock for GOD's people. What does the Word of GOD say? Revelation 8:2-6:->
2 And I saw the seven angels which stood before GOD;
and to them were given 7 trumpets.

3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the PRAYERS of all saints upon the golden ALTAR which was before the throne. ->(GOD's THRONE, our PRAYERS are before the throne of GOD, understand?)

4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with THE PRAYERS of the saints,
ascended up before GOD out of the angel's hand.

5 And the angel took the censer, and filled it with FIRE OF THE ALTAR, and cast it into the earth:
and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.

That said, what the FIRE from GOD's Altar causes, it has nothing to do with "agricultural chaos in the earth" as you said above. By the way, GOD is a consuming FIRE, understand?-> Hebrews 12:29 combined with Isaiah 33:10-14, take a look.

You said: ..."fire mixed with blood falling upon the earth. A third of it will become burned to ashes, much like what took place in the book of Exodus", -> Note, GOD is the FIRE and the blood is concerning GOD's people, as is written in Revelation 6:9-11, as follow:

9 And when He had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the Word of GOD, and for the testimony which they held:

10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and AVENGE OUR BLOOD on them that dwell on the earth?

11 And white robes were given unto every one of them ->(Revelation 19:7-8, take a look); and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

THEN, t
he seven angels which had the 7 trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

while the second trumpet brings destruction upon the seas, turning its oceans into rivers of blood.
Revelation 8:8-> 8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great MOUNTAIN burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the THIRD part of the sea became blood;

The material things are figures of spiritual things, like the parables of our Lord JESUS
. So, sea=waters->waters=Gentile peoples, and nations, and MULTITUDES of all tongues->Revelation 17:15, take a look. ->The THIRD part of the sea became blood because a MOUNTAIN burning with fire was cast into the sea, ->And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died.

The great MOUNTAIN burning with FIRE->(GOD IS A CONSUMING FIRE)->by allegory, great MOUNTAIN is the current REBELLIOUS

Israel, the dry land, the clay->(Isaiah 64:8, take a look), they are waiting their own messiah->(John 5:43-47 combined with 2

Thessalonians 2:3-4 & 8-12,and Revelation 13:11,AND mainly Revelation 14:18-20, take a look to understand the revelations better).

During the third trumpet, wormwood will have fallen from the sky, causing the water to be polluted, almost undrinkable, where famine will begin to occur more rapidly.
Brother, your thinking is from a human perspective, not from GOD's perspective, human thoughts is a stumblingblock for GOD's people. Opinions is good for nothing, except to kill the souls. What does the Word of GOD say?

Isaiah prophesied, saying:-> How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!-> Isaiah 14:12-15, take a look.

With the manifestation of the false messiah, a false lamb->Revelation 13:11->(after the great MOUNTAIN (ISRAEL) burning with FIRE be cast out of heaven), -> besides the Jews, a large part of Gentile Christians or believers, members of all churches, will believe in the false messiah. As is written-> there fell a great star from heaven
(HEAVEN has nothing to do with SKY, heaven is not the physical space of sky->read Ephesians 1:3-10, and so on, to understand better) , burning as it were a lamp(2 Corinthians 11:14 combined with 2Thessalonians 2:3-4 and 9-12), and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;

11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; (yes, waters become wormwood because now, in the latter times, some shall depart from the faith->(2Thessalonians 2:3, take a look), giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;) -> and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.->

Continuation of post above:

Something like the terrible scenario described in Genesis 3:1-11, take a look)

Then there was the fourth and fifth trumpet where the sun and moon become darkened, and locusts will have been released from outer space.
Please, brother, you say "and locusts will have been released from outer space". Oh your tinking is from a human perspective, not from GOD's perspective. What you wrote has nothing to do with the Word of GOD.-> Have you never read Isaiah 40:21-22?

-> 21-Have ye not known? have ye not heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning? have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth?

22 It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in: -> THE LOCUSTS WILL COME FROM THE BOTTOMLESS PIT, not from outer space as you wrote.

Revelation 9:1-4:-> 1 And the fifth angel sounded
, and I saw a STAR fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.
2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. ->
3 And there came out of the smoke LOCUSTS upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of GOD in their foreheads.

The sixth trumpet is linked with Revelation 7 as a whole. -> 144K that is the number of them which were sealed of Israel, and also is about a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds,and people, and tongues,stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

-> 2Peter 3:7 & 11-14 warned GOD's people, saying: -> 7 the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same Word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

11
Seeing then that all these things shall be DISSOLVED, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

12
Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of GOD, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be DISSOLVED,->(YES, THE OLD TESTAMENT AND NEW TESTAMENT ARE DISSOLVED->MATTHEW 24:14 combined with HEBREWS 8:13 )and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look FOR SUCH THINGS, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

THE SEVENTH TRUMPET SOUND ->Revelation 11:15-18, AND THEN:

15 ... The kingdoms OF THIS WORLD are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before GOD on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped GOD,

17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.

18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come->(ISAIAH 26:19-21 combined with Romans 2:5-11, take a look), and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

I'm not saying there are more sides. I'm just questioning the usage of the term that wasn't used for unbelievers in the bible, from what I recall. Is there a verse that says all unbelievers are the antichrist?

Apostle John showed in the below verse that it means those who reject that The Christ came in the flesh as Jesus of Nazareth are not of God, and that that is the "spirit of antichrist".

1 John 4:3
3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
KJV

In 1 John 2:18, he pointed to the idea of a singular "antichrist" figure, and then another group he called the "many antichrists", which simply means the followers of the Antichrist.

The Greek for the word "antichrist" actually means the instead of Christ, or in place of Christ. And that idea is about the coming false-Messiah which Lord Jesus warned us that is to come at the end, as Apostle Paul also did (Matt.24:23-26; 2 Thess.2). So there is a singular entity that is The Antichrist, and then his followers who have that "spirit of antichrist".
