I agree with you! Mental illness is the cause of a lot of mass killings and we need to address it more to help save lives.

Since it is on the increase, maybe it is best addressed by examining those things that are promoting it, beginning with changing public school curriculum's over the last 75 years.

It's not always the curriculum. I know a math teacher who feels it's her duty to talk about social issues to her students.

We cant forget about Ephesians 6:12
12 For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places..../NLT

So it would be the evil spirits that are behind the mass shooters that are enticing them to do those things.

Well, 'evil spirits', an inclusive term of all evil entities, are basically behind all evil that infects man and have been since that little incident way back when.

But I try to be specific in recognizing exactly where and how they do their work, and the educational system is, IMO, one of their primary targets since it hits children at there most vulnerable age from the very start of their lives. I think that this is a more important than even the Church itself since it is all pervasive in society and covers secular and religious youth equally, leading them to become doorways of evil into all they are involved in in their adult lives, including the Church, without their -or their parents- even being aware of it.

This is why I am such a strong believer in Christian education and encourage every Christian who loves their Children to take them out of public school and educate them at a private religious school or some other Christian based education such as home schooling.

But, this is Pride month, how is the school your children or grand children handling it? And do you or they have any say so in whether or not they can do anything about it without repercussions if they are pushing acceptance of these abominations on them?

This is how I see it, how I believe about it.

Nothing wrong with Home Schooling the kids. The less we depend on government with anything, the better. I read that it is the CIA that chooses the curriculum and prints the books for public school. There's a red flag right there.

Nevertheless, there are evil spirits behind these agendas and I think that we should deal with them, and pray against them for a spiritual offense to their agenda.
And everybody go ahead and let their wives quit their jobs and so they can stay home and have the time to home school their kids. If the wife wants to make outside money, she can take on extra kids?

The government is trying to get all of us dependent on them for everything, schooling, health care, permissions to do anything, food, jobs. Think about it, it's a nation on welfare, and that's how they treat you. So the spiritual world is one battlefront and the material world is another battlefront and you do make some good points.

I thought it would be nice to be retired! How wrong I was...I worked my whole life instead of sub culture pursuits and felt a twinge of pride that I did.

Now that I'm retired, why do I feel like I'm on welfare. Except they wont give me food stamps, lol. I make too much money on my check they say.

@Edward429451, perhaps you can pray persistently for God to give you important things to do in retirement. He gave me a writing career after I was an English teacher and then a pastor. It could be volunteering at some food bank or at a nonprofit store. I don't know, but I know that it's important for us to keep our minds active as we get older. You're on my prayer list to find God's direction for your retirement.

Interesting that you should mention that. Only recently have I come to the conclusion that, I am not retired at all. I just switched employers, lol. And I do not know what my new job is in detail. So I have been praying about that very thing lately.

And an "employer" doesn't need to be a paying one, @Edward429451. After all, our real Employer is Jesus, who gives us his gifts of grace and love freely.
