I was raised in a mainstream Protestant Christian Church, but I am now Non-denominational. I have been a believer on The Father and His Son Jesus Christ since I was a child, but I was not baptized in Christ until I turned 40.
My ancestors were French Huguenots (first French Protestants) having fled Catholic persecution in France in the 15th century, and came to the Americas, to Virginia Colony and eventually settled in South Carolina. I am a Vietnam era veteran, my father was a WWII combat veteran, my great grandfathers were Civil War and Revolutionary War veterans.
