    Ok, so there's a profound difference in these two faiths - OUR faith, which people struggle to "work up" in themselves but which is essentially powerless and insufficient for salvation; and HIS faith, which is a gift to us, possessing a specific quality and power to save us.

    Depends on who you ask. There should be consensus among Christians as God's spirit (the counselor, the Spirit of truth, who will teach you all things) brings us all into agreement, but... Obviously, we have a problem with that process. The Flesh is dense and stubborn.

    Ah, ask a simple question, get a massively complex and endless battle instead. But it's a Christian forum, where confusion and conflict are rampant, nothing new there. The death penalty takes away any future opportunity of that person that is put to death ever coming to christ. Who knows...

    Incessant doubt about the validity of my own faith. I don't trust myself and am constantly asking God to lead me into all truth... but am I truly sincere in that request, or is it just an elaborate game to evade that truth??????????
