A resounding YES.
To heal.deliver restore redeem build .

He delights to take the enemies work and pull it down that he may rebuild goodness in its place in every sense possible.
For God id good and he is light in him is no darkness nor shadow of turning .

Sickness came into the world by way of sin. It has no other origin. Sickness is merely another manifestation of death at work, sped up somewhat.

The lord Jesus said to the lame man ..your sins are forgiven . he knew this was enough for he knew sickness came from sin .not a particular sin but all sin.
God did not create man and then curse him, thr curse came by way of sin.

John said of jesus. Behold the lamb of God who takes AWAY the sin of the world. If the cause of the curse is taken upon him then the power upon which the curse came is nullified and the curse has no more power.

Jesus knew this and so whenever he came across the curse at work..he told it to stop its work and he returned the blessing. (For in him all peoples are blessed)
He said ALL AUTHORITY is given me ...and now i send you..
He now tells Us his deciples,to be his active body and go about doing what he did. To go in his name and bring thr authority..the kingdom of God ,to where the curse is still active and cast it down in Jesus name and restore blessing.

I do not speak from ANY denominational stance on this. It is simply what the lord Jesus came to acomplish and has acomplished. -salavation,in every sense of the word.

when the lord jesus had the sick brought to him, how many who came to him for healing ,did he heal ?

ALL - every one of them .

he never said- oh you don't have enough faith
he never said -oh you need to forgive someone
he never said any reason as he sent some one away unhealed .. because he never sent any one away unhealed .he may have referred to a reason they were sick .but he never sent the away sick ..he healed them every one .

so its really un unrequired question to ask .. is it his will to HEal .

the lord jesus said ..I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself. He does only what he sees the Father doing...
and the father was healing the sick.. every single one that came to him .

so we know it is irrevocably the will of God to heal .

The lord Jesus tells us to go and do what he did.
We know he wants us to become like him and do what he did .
So we have to ask honest questions...
Why dont we always see the power of the kingdom. Even though we believe it.
I pray forfolks ..iv seen poweful effect.ivalsoseen often nothing happen.

The answer ,i think ... Is Ouch..
Too much of my life..not enough his life.

What i mean by that is..The lord Jesus said ..if you will come after me you must deny yourself and take up your cross.
To see the power of the kingdom of this world people persue this world.. Those who persue it a lot get the wealth and power ofit a lot.. Those who persue it a little get littleand those who wait for the lottery get fooled.
Folks have no problem with the concept within the bounds of this world.

But it is the same with the kingdom of heaven.. If we deny ourselves this world and our worldly life and persue Gods kingdom we will then see the power and effect of his kingdom at work.and the more we persue it the more we see of it and experience it.
He said the kingdom of heavensuffers violence and theviolent take it.by force.
I think this simply means those who go get it and let nothing stop them...get it.

if we cannot believe the lord in regard to healing ...according to his word.
then how can we truly say we believe him in regard to salvation..according to his word?

how many have prayed for another's healing and seen that healing immediately?

i think we need to have our minds constantly renewed in regard to this.
the lord Jesu tells us to go out and "heal the sick ".. so obviously he knows , in his name , we can do so .

I have. Brain damage, brain tumour, kidney tumours, laceration of the tongue, and more have been healed right away after prayer, and I have witnessed it.

We put people in what we call the prayer chair. We have seen cancers healed, bondage to alcohol and drugs broken, broken bones knitted back together. One lady came to our church because the doctors said she only had a few months to live because she had a weak heart. We prayed for her and God healed her heart and this was about ten years ago. She is still living. God repaired her marriage and she moved back to California with her husband.

PRIMARY (or unconditional) will: God's desire irrespective of any conditions. "God wills ALL people to be saved" the Bible says.

SECONDARY (or unconditional) will: Taking the situation into account. God only saves where there is faith in the shed blood of THE Savior, Jesus Chrsit. Without faith, there is no salvation.

Do these "wills" contradict each other? No. One is unconditional/primary, one is conditional/secondary.

You child does something bad, dangerous. You PUNISH them. Is PUNISHING your kid your unconditional, primary will? No, your primary will is NOT to punish your kid! Do you in fact hate doing it? Probably! And yet - there is a situation, a condition here - that means punishment is appropriate, although it breaks the heart of the parent. When the brokenness of the world is taken into account, primary and secondary will aren't going to be the same thing.

IF God's primary will was the only fact, then yes - there would be no sin, no evil, no illness, no death. But there is sin, evil, illness, death. Because this is a broken world where there is not JUST God's primary will at work.

Thank you.

Pax

It always amazes me how people explain away that God wants to heal always.
