It's just the two of us for a couple of days and I'm making homemade ravioli with homemade sauce, homemade meatballs and garlic bread and the next day is my husband's birthday. I'll be baking a cheesecake for him. Then our daughter will be here with her bulldog. I'll probably make chicken tortellini soup for her

It took me many years to start making the good stuff. Lots of trial and error. When I was growing up, my mom never let us do the cooking or cleaning, so my sister and I were very ignorant the day we got married to our husbands.

So... I made a blog, it was fun putting it together. I think that's the perfect low maintenance type of thing for me to run.

Other than that, going to the movies today and tomorrow.

Ooh nice! I see you have a post about Squid Game 2! We started watching it last night. It was slow starting, but we kept on going and it got a little better by episode 3.

Hi everyone. My daughter is visiting and we're celebrating our Christmas this weekend. So if I don't respond, I'm not ignoring anyone.

We celebrated Christmas today at our daughter’s house. They were out of town visiting her in-laws on Christmas.

How did it go? What did you do?

We had great weather yesterday and went for a couple of walks, so that was nice. And then we made brownies! My daughter's dog LOVES opening her own gifts...as well as helping everyone else open theirs. So that was hilarious.

It went great! We spent time playing with our grandkids,, well mostly being entertained by them, lol. We traded gifts, The kids got more gifts from Santa who dropped off some presents of theirs at our house. They invited us to stay for dinner but they‘d just gotten back from their trip where our granddaughter (10 months) got sick with bronchiolitis and ended up in the PICU. She’s recouperating nicely, though, but after all that we didn’t stay for dinner, and instead let them rest since they had very little sleep.

I'm glad your granddaughter is doing better! My husband used to always get sick around Christmastime when he was a kid.

My daughter got something……. flu? On Christmas Eve afternoon when she was in grade school, then I came down with it Christmas Eve night. We were both sick during her entire Winter Break from school. I don’t remember if hubby caught it or not. If he did, it wasn’t during Winter Break.
