If I sell once I've finished some rooms it will help. At present it's a mid-term project, even if a lot of the ground work is done.

went and saw one of my clients in the hospital today and have a meeting later this afternoon.

Just went for a walk with my wife and got the lawn cut. That's just shy of 10,000 steps today already. Now it's time to take a shower and go out for a late lunch.

Eating breakfast and getting ready to do some household maintenance.

Got a few bits of admin-type stuff to do today, and beyond that just need to decide whether to do stuff on the computer or stuff on the house. I've got some code floating around in my head I want to experiment with and the ever-present breaking of the house to do.

It appears that the guy I paid to fit my windows is a cheap hack by just about any imaginable metric I might use to measure the quality of his work. Small wonder the windows delivered almost none of the benefits I had hoped for.

I was doing laundry yesterday and something caused the glass on the side door to my washer to blow. Glass went everywhere. It's good nobody was standing next to it or they would have gotten hit by glass. I'm not sure what caused it to do that. I'm not sure if we are going to get glass replaced or just get a new washer

Debating whether to have a lazy afternoon or finish the wiring job I started on Friday. Most of the prep work is done but to finish the job I need to be making holes in the ceiling and to be honest the call of my recliner is strong today. It was a struggle at church this morning - before I went I really didn't want to go and, having gone, I wish I'd stayed home and slept. So I suspect my wiring job will wait until tomorrow.

Watching old shows from the 80s on tv and doing nothing.

Trying to muster up enough energy to drill a very small hole in my bedroom ceiling. I need to figure out where the new cable I'm laying in the attic needs to reach, but really struggling with motivation to do much of anything today.

Eating breakfast now that I'm home from grocery shopping.

Thinking I might get out in the woods today. The forecast is that the rest of the week is supposed to be wet. My electrical work can wait.

Just sitting in the recliner with Peanut under the blanket

Got the sealant fixed up in five more windows. There are only three more to do upstairs now. Sadly the three have stuff in front of them that will need to move, which isn't a trivial process.

Got all my upstairs windows resealed with caulking. Today it's supposed to rain so I can get on with my electrical work.

I'm at the tail end of a cold that has turned into a cough. Coughs usually linger for 2 weeks so I'm stuck with it until it runs its course. I was taking Mucinex but didn't take it this morning because I'm not sure if it was actually helping. I'm going to up my Magnesium today because it's an anti-inflammatory and should help.

I use cough drops which seem to help and my coughs tend to linger as well but I smoked for 40 years and I have always attributed it to that

Wondering why I was up at 5:00... Oh well. I'll do some catch-up later. I was pretty well caffeinated when I went to bed so it doesn't take much to figure it out. Not in my 30's any longer
