What's happening with the peppers?
A long time ago I made jalapeno poppers and didn't wear gloves. My hands burned for a good 12 hours! ouch.
They're going to get chopped up and made into all sorts of sauces and relishes.
A bucketful of jalapenos were by far the mildest peppers on the table. Most of them were ghost peppers and scorpion peppers.
A while back I used to grow cayenne peppers and Thai bird-eye peppers. I only stopped because my plants were producing more peppers than I was using. After processing some cayenne peppers I forgot to wash my hands before rubbing my eyes.
Top tip: If you've been handling cayenne peppers wash your hands before rubbing your eyes. It's not an experience I wanted to repeat, although still manage to every once in a while.
