Severely stubbed (probably broke) a toe. Was in pain for, I think, two months.People who have reached a 9 or 10 on the pain scale, what happened?
No epidural?I was giving birth. Nothing will ever compare to that pain.
No epidural?
Wow. I had an epidural but it wore off and didn’t know I could ask for more. In the delivery room I finally said that I had feeling and the doctor said that I couldn’t bc I had an epidural. Then he touched me again and I said “I felt that, too” and he was like “she has feeling, give her some more“. That was just before the episiotomy. Yikes! After that I felt nothing at all. Couldn’t even move my legs. No, my obstetrician didn't believe in using them!! It was awful and I was begging for a cesarean section.

I don’t know….i think they’re supposed to give the patient more. But I really don’t know. I was only 24 and naive at the time.Do you react strongly to normal pain? Why did it wear off? I'd be so mad LOL
