Optimizers vs Satisfiers

Optimizers are people who put in great effort to make the best decisions, whereas Satisfiers are people who save time by taking the first option that fulfills all their requirements.

Which kind are you and why?

It really depends on the decision.

If it's something that makes little long term difference or is easily changed then there's no point spending lots of time and effort making a perfect decision. If it's something that's difficult or expensive to change, and has long term impacts, I'll take more time to make a better decision.

The process of deciding where to eat for lunch is very different to the process of deciding just how I want a new kitchen to be laid out.
