Hate is like a powerful acid. It corrodes the container in which it is stored as much as the object on which it is poured.

Several Scriptures says that God HATES.

Since there is no sin in God, since there is no evil in God, since God IS love..... hate per se must not be evil, wrong, sinful or unloving.

Indeed the opposite of love is NOT hate but tolerance and indifference.

What you fail to understand is that God hates sin, sinfulness, people who aren't merciful, racism, etc. He is God. He has the power to judge, to hate and do whatever He wants.

We on the other hand can't do whatever we want. We are authorized to love. We can choose lo love and follow God by loving others, or we can chose to hate God by hating others. Plain and simple.

True,
But to vaguely speak of racism is somewhat peculiar.
If you have cause speak up.

Personally I havnt seen racism on the internet!
Matter of fact.
I doubt you could ever guess what my blood smells like.

Something I learned while walking with the Lord.
Liars sell snake oil like pity.

What in my post tells you that I do not understand that God hates sin?

You seem to think God gives you license to hate.

I said no such thing.... and your post to me never suggested I said any such thing.

You said that I don't understand that God hates sin. I asked what in my post so states? You didn't answer the question.

But yes, I think we ARE to hate what is evil - just as He does. Now, I never mentioned the word "give" or "license" but yes, I said that several Scriptures state that God hates - and gave a link to a full explanation. But yes, I think it IS appropriate for people to hate evil and sin.... and as I stated earlier, such is not contrary to love or to God.

It often is the case that people these days who complain the most vigorously about 'hate' are the ones exhibiting the most hate. They have hateful words and accusations for anyone who doesn't immediately buy their rather Marxist analysis of the situation.

Why that would be considered the Godly thing to do, hasn't been explained. It makes a good campaign slogan for the political Left, though.

Of Course Trumps rhetoric is the example of how not to hate? Not to mention his followers in the main, not all but many

Surely you do not think that the torrent of non-stop hatred directed at him by the RESIST! organizations is inconsequential? I rather think that if you were called a Fascist, child molester, not fit to be considered human, etc. on a daily basis, and your murder were made the subject of plays and editorials...

...that you might be inclined to call your detractors by some terms which, if truth were really told, pale compared to what he has been subjected to.

And then we get the usual, hypocritical alibi given by the folks who are doing this--"Oh, but we have a right to expect better from the president!"

I agree...

It seems to ME, "hate" has simply become a vague campaign slogan used by the left and the press..... it simply means ANYTHING the left doesn't like. By simply using a FEELING word that just has to be bad, no defense or rationale or thought process at all is needed.... every non-leftist is just a hate monger. Crazy thing is: it works. Really well.

Sound judgement has nothing to do with favoritism, period.
lean on the Lord in the spirit of knowledge and understanding

James 2 New International Version (NIV)
Favoritism Forbidden
2 My brothers and sisters, believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ must not show favoritism. 2 Suppose a man comes into your meeting wearing a gold ring and fine clothes, and a poor man in filthy old clothes also comes in. 3 If you show special attention to the man wearing fine clothes and say, “Here’s a good seat for you,” but say to the poor man, “You stand there” or “Sit on the floor by my feet,” 4 have you not discriminated among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?

5 Listen, my dear brothers and sisters:
Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom he promised those who love him?

Like i said before.
I havent heard anything about Faith.
