The vet has completely changed his mind in the last 12 hours. He's now saying its an upper respiratory infection. I'm picking her up at 4 pm. If she has any other problems I am taking her to a different vet. I don't trust them anymore

Wow.... to go from being so bad she needs to be put to sleep, to saying it's a respiratory infection is quite something. Truth be told I'd be looking for another vet already, unless there's a good reason why you nearly had her put down over that.

I got most of my wiring work done. Rather annoyingly the two circuits I wanted to break apart included the lighting in the area I was working, which meant I had to do everything by the light of a battery powered job site lamp. It does the job, up to a point, but it also throws out more heat than I really wanted to be dealing with.

I got my two circuits broken apart and installed. Where I had a light on a plug that I plugged into a very temporary socket, now I have a properly cabled light with a switch and a socket that is controlled by the switch. A temporary extension is now no longer hard wired but attached to a plug.

Rather annoyingly it means that when the switch is off the temporary extension, in another part of the house, is turned off. Which means if I want to do things like wallpaper scraping I need to turn the light on in the crawl space. Oh well, it's a temporary thing so hopefully won't be there much longer. I would fix it but trying to get all the assorted bits of cable into the back box was a hassle and I don't really feel like opening it all up again.

It was very warm and sweaty in there, or I'd have looked at getting another cable I've run up there connected up. Then I can split upstairs wiring from downstairs wiring, which would be handy. There's one minor complication, which relates to the neutral cable and the rather curious way the house was wired. I think that I can fix it by replacing one length of cable, but if I start and it goes wrong I potentially end up with bigger problems than I started with.

Getting ready for tomorrow morning at 9am to get two teeth pulled taking off of work for the rest of the weekend. Hopefully I can manage to be out on Pentecost Sunday but I might stay in depending on the pain, my whole left side of my upper teeth are all missing, now its the other side we go to pull out. I am 33 years old but my abuse of adderall has dried my mouth far gone.
I am desperately worried about what soupy diet I will have to be on until my gums heal to put back my teeth. Its all costly but do to my suicidal apathetic state I was in, self mutilation and putting my self in extreme dangers and abusing medicine I am so blessed for the God given strength to redeem myself and make my teeth full again so I dont eat and choke on everything. Probably one of the most painful seasons I will endure for a while.
I had no idea of the damage adderall could cause on teeth on just a few years of being on it. Thank God he stopped me, so far 7 teeth are rotten and have come out but three more remain, i am getting them out tomorrow. I dont know how i will be able to eat with only my front teach for now I just pray for the implants asap. Dry mouth will sneak up on you, it did me after 5 years on being on prescription speed and downers...
Thank Jesus Christ for wanting me and turning me around amen, without his strength I wouldnt be here anymore, not here for this forum or anyone, i would have died. But Jesus rose me out of hell and I can face the flames with no blemish. God loves us and will see to it that we are at peace while on this planet. He is my only hope and also the light truth and the way and his presence occupies my every waking experience, I meditate on his truth and revelation 247.
I know him and he is a very selfless compassionate and loving God who will never leave. My by friend thank you for my life and strength and patience. i await heaven as I once knew it, to come again in eternal glory. Not matter where he puts me I will not let him down.
Praises to our Loving and forgiving God and Lord Jesus Christ to make think new again. Amen lord, you chose this man! And nothing can separate this Love we have.

:hug2: I have periodontal disease. I am going to have some teeth pulled, too. I had an eating disorder for about 25 years or so and it did a number on my mouth. So sorry for all you have gone through. Peace to you.

Prayers for you! They should give you a list of foods for a soft food diet that you can have. You can also look into trying Ensure or Boost but be warned they might mess with your stomach (at least they did for me because of all the sugar in them). They'll give you nutrition though if you're worried about it.

Nice day for the first time in a while. I didn't really have time to be out in the woods but really needed to just get out in the woods, so I went out in the woods. I didn't take in the more strenuous hike that I often like to do, I chose an easier trail. It's about the same distance - six miles or so - but has half the overall climbing and it's in the form of rolling hills rather than going up a relentless hill for nearly three miles and then back down again.

And, as it turned out, one of the things I thought I needed to do can wait, and the other I managed to get done anyway.

We switched to a different veterinarian today because this week they told us one day that our cat Tootsie had a small intestine blockage and might only have a week to live and then the next day they said she has a upper respiratory infection. I felt like i couldn't trust them anymore, so decided to go to another vet and get second opinion. they gave her two shots today and some reglan for her stomach problems and we are all back home now.
I'm never going to that vet again

Swung by the hardware store. We have something digging holes in the back yard so it's time to declare war on them. It's a balancing act between getting rid of whatever is burrowing and living underground and not wanting to harm the other wildlife that we like to have (specifically the birds).

Mostly small holes. I think they are voles but can't be 100% sure. There is a single bigger hole that I think might be a rabbit warren.

Currently I have physical traps with springs, smoke bombs and poison pellets.

My right side of my face is sore because of the two extractions. They said I could get partials so I can chew my food... at least I have all of my bottom teeth and all my front upper teeth so I can keep my smile
But as for chewing, my upper molars on both sides are completely gone save one.
The tylenol 3 helped a little and at least im off work this weekend... I got one more wisdom tooth to come out and then we move on to fixing the cavities on my bottom teeth.
All of this is due to dry mouth while on medications, please if you have kids never keep them on adderall it will destroy their teeth

There isn't any swelling just soreness. Thanks [emoji8], I think im going to stay in today and watch sermons online, although it will be last weeks sermon but if I move around too much it starts throbbing and I don't want to push out the blood clot and get dry socket... [emoji45]
