If you have a meeting at your church or an event that is somewhat church related, do you use what's on hand in the kitchen for paper and plastic? Or do you have to supply your own? I'm asking to see what the norm is.

I'm not sure there really is a norm, it would be down to each individual church to set a policy if they feel it's required.

For what it's worth our church has paperware that's available for use for church related functions. If you're hosting an outside function you're expected to provide your own.

If something counts as "somewhat church related" the specifics would most likely make the difference, although if you're talking a couple of paper plates I don't imagine anyone would care. If you're wanting 100 paper plates, 100 disposable cups and 100 paper bowls then it starts to make more of a difference, even if only because of the need to restock.
