Do you think that the new realistic Artificial Intelligence videos will harm kids who believe they're real? I'm a little worried.

Never mind kids, AI deepfakes could cause all sorts of issues.

I saw one years ago (back when Obama was still president) that showed Obama giving a speech that sounded more or less like a regular Obama speech, except that part way through he suddenly made some comment about "all you m*f*s"" (obviously I've starred out the word he used here) and then started talking about how the whole video was a fake and it wasn't really him.

It's no great surprise that it turned out to be a fake, but it was incredibly realistic. You'd have been forgiven for wondering if he had actually said that for real, just to make a point about fakes.

A lot of the older folks on Facebook are sharing some photos that are obviously AI, but it's fooled them into thinking they were real. That's a shame really. I used to count the fingers because AI couldn't get them right, but it's improved and now it's getting hard to distinguish.
