Why does the forum dress everyone in Mexican hats and not Pilgrim hats? November is the month of Thanksgiving.

Today is All Saints Day, an important day on the church calendar and, by the way, the reason there's a Halloween. But I suppose there isn't an obvious image that represents it.

But the members don't dictate the hats they have to wear.

What? You didn't see all those bats flying around here the other day?

The hats are gone now. I think the add on the owner uses comes as a whole for the celebrations, so we can't pick and choose which ones we want for the site? I could be wrong, but I thought that's what I was told.

Holidays can be disabled and even added.

That is helpful. Appreciate it.

It shows how to remove the prejudicial characterization of this forum. Instead of Thanksgiving we are forced to celebrate the Day of the Dead, a Mexican holiday.

And of course, my post here will be labeled a post of 'hate'. Because Thanksgiving must be a day of hate. A day when white people came over from Europe. A day when the greatest nation on earth was born.

So much 'hate'.

Was it ever said that Thanksgiving was not going to be recognized on here? Rather than making assumptions that look to disrupt, why not ask what holidays are included?

I sort of did ask that in the opening post.

'Day of the Dead' is not an American holiday. Nor is it really a Mexican holiday. It is just a Mexican tradition. An Aztec tradition.

Was Columbas holiday recognized last month?

That is not one of the options in the addon.
