I think all politicians are opportunists, and Trump's team was swift to act and it worked to their benefit. People feel Trump is more down to earth with these little antics of going to McDonald's or jumping into a garbage truck and driving a mile.

The thing is that politicians really need to realize that calling the other side any name is going to affect the entire voting base of that side. Maybe they should just stop with the rhetoric all together, you know, like Biden called for after Trump's first assassination attempt, but that didn't last long from Biden.

I remember his line, that was something like "if you have to decide who to vote for, you ain't black".

Because, you know, all black people are a uniform mass and they are apparently incapable of individual thought. When Democrat candidates take black votes for granted to this kind of level it's hardly surprising that black voters start to consider what the two parties might actually do for them.

In my opinion, most politicians are shady and scum. At least Trump is hoping to help the country instead of lining his own pockets with money.
