A lot depends on where that person is at the time.

If someone is leaning towards thinking "there must be more than this" you'll want a different approach to someone who has never really considered whether there is anything more than this, which will be different again to someone who has suffered a great loss and blames whatever deity they grew up with. If the person is coming from another faith background that changes things again.
