Do you like it when autumn comes and there is suddenly Pumpkin everything? It's actually starting now and not waiting for fall. I bought a pumpkin pie and pumpkin coffee last week!

Do you like pumpkin drinks/foods?

I just read that Starbucks is going to have a pumpkin spice cold brew coffee this year. I'm not into cold brew too much especially for autumn.

I get sick of pumpkin being put in everything. My wife likes a lot of pumpkin stuff but for me it's just another fad to avoid, I find most of it too sweet for my taste. I do like pumpkin pie, and I've got a couple of pumpkin beers that are good if you leave them to age for a while.

I picked up a case of an imperial pumpkin ale because it was really cheap, cheap enough to try something I wouldn't normally bother with. This stuff usually sells for about $50/case but the place I got it from just wanted it out of the way to make way for winter beers so they had cut the price to $10. $10 for 24 bottles was a price I was willing to take a chance, but I didn't care much for the beer. Since it is quite a popular beer round here I figured I'd keep it so I could give it to people who might enjoy it, rather than just dumping it. So I put it in the basement and slowly worked my way through it. Recently I found the last couple of 4-packs of it that I'd forgotten about, and wondered if it was still good, whether it had aged well etc. So I cracked a bottle and it was much smoother than before, to the point I quite liked it. So the lesson to take away is to buy a case when it's dirt cheap, leave it in the basement for about three years, and then it will be pretty good.

I haven't noticed pumpkin everything. I do like pumpkin pie as long as it has whipped cream on it

Do you celebrate Halloween? That's what made the craze really a big thing here.

It is a long ways to fall here and to have been hearing about how now it is fall it is pumpkin time is very annoying to me. I like pumpkin pie and pumpkin bars and that is about it for me.

Pumpkin bread is okay..... otherwise, I'm no fan.

Pumpkin pie is something I avoid. Hopefully, there is some other kind of pie served at Thanksgiving, lol

A few years ago some friends in PA took me to an event called Punkin Chunkin. I'd never seen anything like it in England - a bunch of people around a lake using huge trebuchets to fire pumpkins as far as they could. The only time I'd ever seen a trebuchet before then was at a demonstration at a castle, where they took nearly 20 minutes to get it to full power before throwing a rock nearly half a mile.

I do like pumpkin foods and drinks, except I have yet found a pumpkin beer that I like.

... one of the two best uses for pumpkin... the other being carved for Halloween. Well, they make nice decorations in the Fall, too.

I must admit I enjoyed shooting pumpkins a lot more than carving them. Some day I need to hook up with an old friend who has (had? haven't seen him in years) a 44 Magnum. One day he took me out shooting with that and seeing what it could do was remarkable. Somewhere I have a picture of the result of shooting a cinder block with a .22 pistol (a tiny little pock mark in the concrete) and a picture of shooting the same cinder block with the Magnum (whole thing blown apart). I'd love to see what it would look like to shoot a pumpkin with a Magnum.
