      Condiments on Burgers

Do you ever use any condiments? I’ll use mustard and mayo.

Cheddar cheese, a little mayo, just a bit of red onion, a big slice of ripe tomato, maybe some lettuce. Avocado is okay (smashed and spread on bun) in place of the mayo. NO pickle or mustard. Toasted bun that's not too big.

I make two different style of burgers, my regular burger with cheese is served with lettuce, tomato, and red onion on a toasted brioche bun. With ketchup, mustard (dijon is good), and mayo. The other is a loose meat steak burger also with cheese and just served with sauteed sweet onions with Thousand Island dressing (Russian dressing can be substituted) on a toasted potato bun.

Either lettuce, tomato and mayo OR fried onions and pickles.

I usually go for mayo, some lettuce, a tomato (sometimes) and maybe some jalapeno peppers from time to time if I have them.

What's the weirdest thing you've ever put on a burger that actually tasted great?

I don't think it's that weird, but I've only done it once, on a regular cheese burger I've topped it with bacon and a medium fried egg with pico de gallo. it was very good, just too messy to eat.
