Luke 1:31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.

1:32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

1:33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

In verse 32 Jesus is identified as being the Son of God.

The same verse declares that Jesus will be given the throne of his father David. Matthew 1:1 speaks of the genealogy of Jesus and that he descends from David.

It was prophesied that Jesus would be given the throne of David and would reign over the earth (Isaiah 9:7 Jeremiah 23:5). His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom.

Psa 82:6-7
I have said,
"Ye are gods;
and all of you are children of the most High.
But ye shall die like men,
and fall like one of the princes."

The everlasting Kingdom is the Kingdom of the Son of David
A Kingdom that is UPON the earth
but is not OF the earth...

So to say it is an earthly Kingdom is error...

Hello

It will be an earthly kingdom

Deuteronomy 4:39 Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the LORD he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.

4:40 Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which the LORD thy God giveth thee, for ever.

Jeremiah 23:5 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.

Psalms 22:28 For the kingdom is the LORD's: and he is the governor among the nations.

Jer. 23:5 ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς

Literally "upon the earth"

The Kingdom of Heaven is upon the earth...

This does not make it an earthly kingdom...

But instead a heavenly kingdom...

Upon this earth...

God did not create man to rule an earthly kingdom...

There will be a New Heaven and a New Earth...

Hello
Ok....I see what you were saying......I agree

When Adam fell the earth fell with him...
This is why John 3:16 tells us:
"In this manner did God love the Cosmos..."
We sometimes like to think that it was solely because of God's love for man that He sent His Son...
But Scripture holds differently...
Yes, God's Love for man is without measure...
But God's Creation includes man...
On the one hand, creation is for man...
Because God became man...
And creation is for God...
And we in Christ are the New Creation...
On the other hand, the Fall of Adam...
Undermined all creation...
Because God's Plan is for man to be co-creators in Christ...
It was so serious that God gave the Flood...
He then repented...
And He gave is Son...

This life is not about this life...
It is about us in God...
Not merely the restoration of Adam...
But the restoration of creation...
And more than this...
The conjoining of God and man...
Attained through our Baptism into Christ...
The Cross of Christ was for our sin...
We embrace it by taking up our own cross...
We scorn it by living lives of comfort and ease...
IF Adam had not fallen in disobedience to God...
Christ would not have been crucified...
He would simply have elevated Adam into Himself...
But we are Baptized into Christ's Death...
For the Lord our our God is a jealous God...
And will have nothing to do with evil in man...
