Favorite Fried Chicken?

KFC used to be my absolute favorite fried chicken but I hadn't had it in many years...until last summer and the place I went to didn't have the same flavor that I remembered.

What is your favorite fried chicken? Is it mom's? KFC? Brown's? Gas Station chicken?

I mention gas station chicken because there is a chain of gas stations that actually sell the best fried chicken. I don't eat it very often but sometimes there is that craving.

there is a place in Ohio (I think they actually have three locations) that we simply called White House chicken. Usually I got a plate of chicken, spanish rice and a big serving of fries.

Maybe they'll expand into more locations in the future

Honestly, I can't say what I find to be the best. They're all good: KFC, Popeyes, Bojangles, Churches etc. However, the problem is that often the chicken isn't cooked well. If it's done right, then it tastes awesome!

Anyway, my mom also made awesome fried chicken - I could probably be rich if patented the recipe!
