The text proves you wrong.
If repentance saved then Jesus is not needed.

Repentance is for forgiveness of sin not salvation

That is so ignorant. Repenting to God through Jesus means we didn't need Jesus?

So we shouldn't disrespect Jesus and obey him by repenting to him?

That sounds like something the devil would trick someone into believing and teaching.

How can you say such a thing? If you don't repent of your sins and forgiven by God, then you don't have salvation.

You say "Repentance saves."
God says we are saved by grace.
Ephesians 2:5 even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ
—by grace you have been saved—
God in His grace (God giving you what you didn't deserve) chose to save. This is perfectly expressed in Ephesians 2.
Repentance never saved anything. Jesus saves...by his grace. The saved person will repent. Why? Because the saved person is made a new creation (2 Corinthians 5) and recognizes the depth of his former corruption. Such gratitude leads to great repentance.

God doesn't work that way. When God forgives us our sins, He enables us and gives us the desire to repent or turn from our old ways.
We repent because we have a change of heart. God gives us a new heart, where we want to please Him.

Jesus saves us all on his own, and he says he chooses to save those who repent of their sins.

You don't get saved until you repent and have faith.

Show in Scripture where we must repent first before God saves us.

No. Jesus doesn't say he chooses to save those who repent. You have created that theology.

No such thing in the Bible which you speak of. God doesn't forgive sins unless and if you do somethings.
You have it backwards. We don't repent because God gave us a new heart. Why did God you will die if you don't repent?
You think God is playing games? Do you think God is being sarcastic, cruel, and ironic?

You don't get a new heart until you repent of your sins.

All can repent to get saved, if not, then you make God a cruel game player.

Ezekiel 18:30 “Therefore, you Israelites, I will judge each of you according to your own ways, declares the Sovereign Lord. Repent! Turn away from all your offenses; then sin will not be your downfall.

Ezekiel 18:31 Rid yourselves of all the offenses you have committed, and get a new heart and a new spirit. Why will you die, people of Israel?

How about The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel. it is in the first chapter of the gospel according to saint Mark.

That was Jesus preaching the gospel of the Kingdom not the gospel of salvation.

The two have to be distinguished and understood in their own context.

The gospel of salvation was not preached until after Pentecost.

The gospel of the kingdom was preached before that time.

You are misquoting me. Trying to make it sound as though I believe in a works gospel. That is not correct.
I said God gives us the desire to repent because He would not save a person unless He also provided repentance.

Prove it that I did that. Quote exactly where I did that.

I am doing no such thing. You have Calvin's beliefs and it is false.

You said that I was saying that we must believe that God makes us do something before He saves us. I didn't say that

I have Christian beliefs. I don't follow the teachings of men. I follow the teachings of Christ.

One thing that constantly surprises me about Protestants is how many crazy gospels and messages they attribute to the new testament.

Okay, you have at least two gospels now. Any more? Kingdom, Salvation, anything else?

You didn't learn what you believe at a University?
The beliefs you have are not in the scriptures.
Give one scripture that says God saves unbelievers.

Give one scripture that says God saves unbelievers.

Ephesians 2:4-5 But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us,
even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ
—by grace you have been saved—
There you go.
Even when we were dead...God made us alive.
That verse alone refutes you and proves that God saves unbelievers and makes them alive with Christ. It's right in your face, YTG. Yet, I expect you will squirm like a worm to get out and blame God for not writing the text exactly as you demand.
If you deny this passage proves you wrong, you play the jester.

No I was taught how to study not what to study or believe!
All the beliefs that I hold can be found in and backed up with Scripture
