Started to fit insulation panels but then realised that I had to spray some more foam first. I'd sprayed behind the wall studs but since I pulled the ceiling down there's a few inches at the very top that needs to be filled. I have to wait about four hours for that to set to the point I can trim it, so went out for a walk around town with my wife. I've got about three hours left before I'll try trimming that foam, so in the meantime maybe I'll drill some holes and run some cables. That room will need power sockets, and what was there was a nasty botch wired to a single circuit that was mostly knob-and-tube and served the entire house. Soon it will have nice new sockets, on their own circuit, properly grounded and using nice new 12ga cable.
I want to get to a point where I can ask a friend to help me with the drywall as fast as possible - he's away for most of next month and I want it done before it gets properly cold for the winter, so I can lay fiberglass over the top of it all.
