I like many different breeds of cats and dogs. I'm not sure I have a favorite anymore. I had a dream last year about finding a dog and she was pretty, but I'm not sure what breed she was. Her name was Lydia, so if I ever come across her in real life, I'll let you know :) -

I bet the dog was happy and felt safe with you for the short while you had him there! It sounds like you have a lot of loose dogs in your area from time to time? Microchips can move around in the body from what a vet tech told me. She volunteers to scan for chips whenever anyone finds a pet. -

Update on the dogs...I had posted immediately on Facebook and checked later and the owner's niece replied saying they got out and were still looking for them. Other people had them in their backyard, so they were finally able to be caught by the owners and taken home. It's good to post on... -

When your pet gets old and is suffering due to health or maybe illness, do you take your pet in to the Vet to be put down? Or put to sleep as some call it? There are some businesses that will come to your home and I think I would have liked that, but fortunately, my dog died in her sleep at home. -
Great Danes
What enormous animals!! I got to pet a Great Dane today at an Amish farm and this guy's head was up to my chest! He leaned into me, raised his head and looked at me like, "Hey, pet me." I loved him!! Have you ever come into contact with a Great Dane? Did you ever own one or know someone who has? -

Cuddliest Pets
Aww that's sweet! We used to have a mini schnauzer and she wasn't too cuddly. My daughter's guinea pig, after the momma guinea pig died, was super cuddly. She enjoyed being in a blanket on my chest while I rocked her on my family room glider rocker. She would come up to my cheek and give me licks. -

Pet Insurance
Do you have insurance for your pet? My daughter was smart to buy insurance on her bulldog for vet visits and that includes surgeries! Her dog needed surgery to remove a cancerous spot and the insurance covered most of it, which was nice.
