On October 3rd of last year, I was attacked on the job. I got punched in the head and my face slit with a box cutter. The injuries were a mild concussion (kept me overnight for observation) and he got me with the box cutter from my ear lobe to my jaw line. Plastic surgeon was called in and it took 22 sutures to close that sucker. The plastic surgeon did a great job and the scar is barely visible.

I'm really glad you're okay after all that. And also glad your scar healed well. My scars end up thick and after 2 years since my last surgery to remove my thyroid my scar is very visible and hideous!

I had surgery when I was five.

Yup, the surgeon did amazing work sewing me up, the scar (while pretty big) is virtually invisible unless I get a good tan (the scar doesn't seem to tan much) but otherwise, it can't be seen unless you really look for it.

I went to visit my daughter. She had a girl about a month ago. Personally, I was in the hospital for 5 days about 10 years ago for a lung biopsy.

Two years ago in June I received a pacemaker to control my bradycardia, an abnormally slow heartbeat. I was in the hospital about 4 hours and was fully conscious throughout the procedure.

My last non-routine visit was nearly three years ago now, when I slipped with a sharp knife and cut myself. They put a couple of stitches in it although, with the benefit of hindsight, I may have been able to get away with tending to it myself. When I made the cut it bled pretty well but by the time I took the dressings I put on it off to show the triage nurse it had all but stopped bleeding.
