There are a few interesting things in there that may be errors in recording or translation.

I forget the chapter and verse but recall something about Ishmael lifting his mother at a time when if you back out all the ages he'd have been five years old.

The beginning of John's gospel comments that noone has seen God, but in the OT Moses is allowed to see God pass by.

Some aspects may be simply an issue of wording in the English, like the proverb saying that if we teach a child the right path he will not depart when he is older. The fact people grow up in the church, taught the right path, and then depart from it later indicates it's not as clear-cut as this.

Sorry I meant misprints or unusual renderings.

An example would be the “Wicked Bible” of 1631 contained the words, “Thou shalt commit adultery” in Exodus 20:14, omitting the vital “not.”

That's one I've never heard before.

Me either. Goes looking for it now.

Okay, what I am finding is that it was to be a reprint of the KJV, but the misprint Jazzy mentions got it called the "Adulterous Bible" due to the misprint of the commandment. Another error is in Deuteronomy 5: the word "greatness" appearing as "great-asse", leading to a sentence reading: "Behold, the LORD our God hath shewed us his glory and his great-asse".

Well, that's disturbing!

There was once a t missing in a Dutch Bible I had.

That reminds me. A preacher once said: this and that is in my Bible and everyone looked at him puzzled, cause nobody had ever heard of that text. He said: It's there. It's in my Bible. I wrote it in it.
Funny pants.
