Aside from having insomnia, I have lucid dreams and PTSD attacks at night. I also have a very bad quality sleep despite sleeping half my day off. Finally, I wake for a few hours at night, completely dissociated from my current moment and I’m on manic high and go to the bathroom endlessly during that time at time at night and am still in my dream.

My wife has insomnia and was just diagnosed with sleep apnia. Unfortunately that was just as COVID-19 hit so we have not been able to follow up.

I have severe insomnia, I also get loud buzzing noises and vibrations sometimes that prevent me from falling asleep.
I hate it because it makes me a zombie sometimes at work and I become accident prone.. It has cost me jobs in the past.
Not fun at all

Sometimes I struggle to get to sleep, usually on the days when I haven't done much all day. If I can get out in the fresh air and sunshine I'm usually just fine.

If I can't get to sleep and need to be up and functional the following day I use melatonin, I've got a bottle of tablets beside the bed for those occasions. I think I've taken a melatonin tablet maybe twice in the last six weeks though.
