Have you ever tried any alternative medicine practices or treatments?

If so, what was your experience like?

I use magnesium supplements to fight inflammation and it works great. If I don't take them, I have problems with my knees and have difficulties walking down our stairs.

As a Reiki Grandmaster, I'm uncertain about the recognition of my expertise in this space. Are there specific guidelines or rules regarding the acceptance of alternative medicine practices here?

Some of the things people call "alternative medicine" are things I consider a normal treatment option. For instance people on the standard Western diet full of meat and saturated fat who eventually get high blood pressure think it's "normal" to get blood thinners to cope. Changing their diet is considered "alternative medicine".

Other examples would be someone who is constantly constipated and takes prescription meds/laxatives for relief. Eating more fiber and drinking more water? That's hocus pocus stuff.

I have used chiropractic care for back issues and headaches. The relief I feel is much better than grabbing the pain medicines.
