That cortisone is good stuff, isn't it? It helped my knees for awhile but they are starting to act up again. I hope you will be okay. I know a man who got 2 hip replacements and he is doing much better now. His recovery was pretty fast, too.
Sorry you have to deal with this Ruth. I once had a neighbor who played loud music all the time, this was many years ago, so when I was totally fed up I put on classical set the speakers against the wall, cranked it up all the way and took a 30 minute walk, never had a problem after thatI moved my mattress into the dining room. Been sleeping in there for 3 nights. Today I changed my bedroom around so the bed is on the other side of the room. In the past week I have put a fan on to block out the noise and she bangs on her head board hard when I do that. Last night I could hear her throwing things from my dining room. I could hear other tenants making noise back. We have a real nut case on our hands. There is no talking to someone like that. I'm scared of her. She might throw a punch at me. The manager is not very nice either. I've had other dealings with the manager and she is never very nice to me. If it continues into the Spring I will move and break my lease and cite "problem neighbor". Thanks for your feedback Bill.
It's a good thing I'm not working because I can sleep into the day late when the nut keeps me up.

Actually it sounded like perfume bottles; I may have not got that right as I was upset when I wrote that. They were making clanging noise not breaking. The police in our city don't want continual nuisance calls about neighbors or the apt. complex can be fined. She has not been making much noise now. I can just hear her open and close drawers and slam them sometimes. Just seems like she's angry. So it's not physically harmful to her as I described it incorrectly in my haste. She threw something heavy on the floor one day and it didn't break just made a thud. Sounded like a fan. I think I've been made to suffer her tantrum and feel sick. I'm going to have to get in to see a new mental health person sooner than I thought because mine found a new place to work and I have to see a new one at the place I go. I'll have to go through a whole battery of questions again and this nonsense about being harrassed by her, too. I know it has been aimed at me. I can't tell you how I know but I do. Well, I can tell you that when my clock radio went off one morning it was barely audible and she took a sledge hammer to the wall we share and beat on it loudly and has beat on that wall with the sledge hammer several times whenever the least bit of noise came from my bedroom.
