Thank you! How did yours go? They just stopped the barrage of fireworks. Sounded like it was right in front of where I live but was a mile down the road..:aargh4:

Fireworks here lasted about 45 minutes and then we got to sleep peacefully. We didn't have to go anywhere since we're up on a hill and just looked out our bedroom windows to watch the displays.

We really didn't do anything. I was a little worried about how my cats would respond to the fireworks, but they are okay. Kiki disappeared for a few hours, but she's fine now. We have four of them

No, it was too hot to go out there for me. Can't see them from my window.

That's great the cats were okay. My pets were okay, too.

I hope everyone's weekend goes well! I am testing my blood sugar every day now. Diabetes is complicated in knowing what Exactly makes it go up and down. Some things are a given like pure sugar and pastries and heavy sugar foods but other things are hard to know Exactly how your blood sugar will react! Ugh!!!

I have a friend who has diabetes and compares it to math and science in trying to determine what his day should reflect in what he eats. It's very complicated and I hope you figure out what's right for your body!

Thank you. The diabetes educator nurse gave me a large book on diabetes and how to manage it. It is helping. My blood sugar was the lowest yet this morning! :)
