I know Chicagoans aren't supposed to put ketchup on their hot dogs but I can't help it. I really like the taste of ketchup!

I've never tried a "Chicago Style" dog. Looks like it'd be good. Ketchup would go well with that, looks like. Do they use the 'Kosher' style Hot Dogs? Always the best!

... a little spicy mustard on the "dog" (or better, a brat). MAYBE some onions.

Don't mess up a good thing.

Hehe The National Hot Dog and Sausage Council ruled two years ago that the hot dog is not a sandwich and that's that.

Sorry, my poll question messed up. The 'Yes' next to the question is a typo, and does not reflect my opinion one way or the other. I see no way to edit the poll.

A sandwich is 2 slices of bread with something in the middle, whatever you choose to put in it, a hot dog is in a roll then covered in whatever people put in it or on it..

Oh, yes! When I worked in Chicago and would go for a hot dog at lunch my friend cringed when I asked for ketchup. He would actually grab ketchup packets for me to put on later and warn me not to order any on my char dog LOL

I always add tomato sauce to my mustard and onions as condiments for sausages in a bun.

That sounds good! I don't use buns for sausages or brats!

No it's a hotdog. A sandwich is real bread with something like cheese or vegetables. A hamburger isn't a sandwich either.

Well, a hamburger IS a sandwich but a hot dog is not. Obviously.
