Had my stuff stolen today, help!

SORRY this happened to you...



I once had my car stolen.

It was a 1990 Buick Century Limited Wagon V6. I called it my Surfmobile. It could GO... but the handling was TERRIBLE.

My parents gave it to me when I was 16 and just got my license; I needed it for school. They bought it CHEAP from a friend.

I kept all my stuff in there - books, jackets, CD's, etc.

I parked at school.... and when I came out, there was all my stuff (all of it - books, binders, papers, clothes, CD'S) piled neatly in the middle of the parking space where my car had been. A kind thief (rare, I image)

A police report was filed. They said it would be found within hours... but it never was. It wasn't insured but it wasn't expensive, either.

Yeah. Got a bunch of relatives down in Houston, as well as a few friends. My cousin was robbed at gunpoint in his garage a few years ago, and one of my friends saw a young man die from a shootout right on the steps to her apartment. Very sad.
Not the greatest place in the mostly great state of Texas.

Exactly, my roommate in Houston was x mas shopping and they followed her home, forced her out at gun point and took her car and then ditched the car but took her items into the get away vehicle I was so terrified of living in that area I had to move back to my home town with my parents .. Also just down the road from the place in Houston at the first store you saw had prostitutes and drug dealers hanging out harassing you.. cops were always so busy being caught in traffic it was basically a free for all.
