I'm curious about why you have them at such early times of the day?

Well, all are sleeping, except the monastics keeping vigil through the night...

So one day a week we join with them, in the dark of night, and pray for the world...

And bring Christ forth to eat His Flesh and drink His Blood...

Praying for the world as it sleeps is a good thing...

And pray for the world we do...

Repetitiously in each and every Service...

and that sounds like a cheap shot to me. .
"Repetitiously in each and every Service..."

Honest opinion about a group of works salvation people who pridefully speak of their traditions.
The Pharisees were known for their same self-righteous behavior.

I am very sure that everyone knows for a fact that Menno thought very deeply and prayed for hours prior to putting that ink to paper...

And that he only finally wrote "Sound like Pharisees" after he was given the obedience to do so by God Himself...

And that he never writes anything here without such God-directed instruction to do so...

Right Menno?

Menno always finds something positive and good to say about everyone every time he clicks "Post"...

He is not some bargain basement tin-horn theologian like me, for instance!

He has integrity, sobriety and great love and compassion for us all...

Right Menno?

Sound like Pharisees...

Did the Pharisees pray again and again for the world?

Did they pray for you and all who are yours, again and again?

Did they pray for peaceful times and an abundance of the fruits of the earth again and again?

I thought they were judgmental hypocrites, Menno...

Did they keep vigil all night to pray for the Salvation of the world, again and again, Menno?

I do not regard such prayer as vain repetition done to be seen by men...

Orthodox Christians do such as this every night for the whole world, Menno...

Did you manage to create criticism for such prayers to our Creator for you, Menno?

Are you suffering from Orthodox Christian derangement syndrome Menno?

Anything they do is wrong because they do not agree with you, Menno?

Finding fault with them is your basis for social interaction, Menno?

Lord have Mercy!

Unfortunately, if Orthodox hold your works salvation, they fall short and their prayers are no different than the vain repetition of the unsaved and the Pharisees.
When you replace grace with works for salvation, you, like all self-righteous person's, fall short and miss the mark...meaning you have no Redeemer available to save you.
What you claim sounds good to the pagan because they attempt the same vain works in order to save themselves.
May God grant that you give up your vain attempts at self-righteous redemption and find your redemption in God's grace alone.

I'm closing this thread as I started the thread and have gotten what I needed from the group and this conversation has gone south in a hurry.
